I love Ace, with that being said if you listen to the Eddie Trunk interview from November Ace is drunk and or high. He’s not sober and may explain his erratic performances.

He has relapsed, or switched addictions. The new sucsess is bad for some . A.A does not work. It does not deal with the core of addictions. It is why you see 80% AA members smokings, earting themselves to death sleeping around and spending money the don't have.

I saw KISS for Alive back in 1976 as an opening act for Black Sabbath on their Technical Ecstasy tour. He sure was good enough back then. Angus Young played 3 chords for AC/DC, they weren't hard, but he could jam. If you have nothing better to do than trash Ace, you are probably too young to have ever experienced the energy of the original band. It was special. Everyone ages at a different rate, it's not just chronological.

Cmon peeps, it’s one of 2 things or both. the sound was either awful on stage and can’t hear himself or the band or he’s medicating himself again. I think it’s the latter. It’s not his age. Yes he is a legend and made a lot of us want to pick up a guitar. Stop making excuses, whatever it is, this performance was awful.

For all those who defend Ace by saying he's in his 70s and should be allowed a pass, please remember: 1) Ace Frehley's guitar parts are NOT complicated. To mess up music this simple is criminal. And 2) Eric Clapton, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and a hundred other musicians still perform at top form - because they care. Ace doesn't.
