I found my self becoming a caregiver at 30 with three small children, a husband, and a full time job. I found myself wanting/needing to connect with others who are going through something similar. I haven’t found what I’m looking for. So here’s to documenting my journey caring for my mom and attempting to find some normalcy.

Hope it helps
I’m so sorry you’re fighting this battle!! As a dental hygienist, let me throw in two cents that you can take or leave. Radiation has a tendency to shut down salivary glands that can cause a slew of issues. First it increases friction. Causing discomfort. Second, saliva holds the key to fighting off bacteria that cause cavities. Xylitol is a sugar replacement that both stimulates salivary production and kills bacteria when they consume it. Since I have literally only seen this video of yours this may not be a wonderful comment for you, but it’s information to keep in your back pocket. Lastly, if tooth brushing is too brutal, waterpik flossers, or a similar product can be a good short term alternative. Best of block to you!! I hope and pray you get beyond this battle and take the win! You both are in my prayers!
Xylitol comes in lots of forms: lozenges, gum, saliva substitutes… Google search can give you a bunch of options. Warning though… about 1 in 4 people have digestive reactions to xylitol. It can give some people GI issues like diarrhea. Go slow at first! See if she has any adverse effects. If not, she can chew on as much as she wants. Even if she doesn’t swallow it and spits it out, and can give her some relief from the dryness.
