Thanks for sharing this, Mr. Boudreault!!!
I bought this rolling garden seat 3 years ago , and asked my 40 year old son to put it together for me. It still isn't together. I'm 75, have a little trouble with arthritis, makes building things not as much fun as it was. But I'm still going to give it another try. I've always loved gardening and this should make it fun again. Wish me luck.
Not hard to do; just use extra washers on the steering gear so they don't fall off. I really like this garden cart too.
This song makes me shiver. It Shows how horrible people can be when they look at trivial differences as a reason to kill each other
Yes, much of what you say is here. I simply think of what the songwriter here was doing is expressing the desire not of the 'excitement of combat'; it was for the end result of peace. My companion to this is Roger Waters poignant "The Gunner's Dream". All that comradeship towards the loftiest goal.
Great video of a great band and a great musician
Folks, if you're over 50, you were very blessed to live at the time in history when music was so rich and original.
This is the "B" side of the "These Eyes" 45 single.
also frm wheatfield soul lp

Joe Pooloka: Well critical Joe, let's hear how much better your tribute is.
RIP Gord...Burton & Randy NAILED IT!
Guess who favorite band growing up in Michigan. Loved lightfoot. Loved this nod to him. RIP gordon. What a truly great artist.
Among the very best anti-war songs ever written. Gorgeous video, congratulations. RIP Gordon, will be sorely missed.
RIP Gordon Lightfoot
RIP to an international Icon.
Rest in Peace, Gordon Lightfoot. Truth teller.
RIP to an Artist
RIP Gordon
I've heard Burton say that they were at a coffee house in Montreal during Expo '67, when out came Gordon, John & Red. He did an entire set of his own songs something l believe Burton had not seen a Canadian musician do before. Burton said he and Randy Bachman kept elbowing each other saying this is what we're going to do some day! A truly inspirational night, which l believe led to this song.
@RobertBruce: True story...
A nice tribute, thank you Burton & The Guess Who
A timeless song. Echoes of Universal Soldier.
THANX54 your TRIBUTRGOLD GORD ACTUAL NATURAL COLOUR PORTRAIT BURTONthankU,G'Who'
Two of my favs, Burton Cummings and Gordon LIghtfoot. Burton does a mimic of Gord on stage that is very fun to watch.
Fantastic video for a great song!
Burton's vocals were so sweet! Always loved this one.
Very nice we miss going . Maybe next year. Love the music Joe great job.
It's a well-meant tribute but it's actually pretty bad.
This is great tribute.
I LOVE THIS TRIBUTE TO GORDY❤
Gordon is Boss! So are the Guess Who!
Too fast!!! Mine came with no instructions, just a picture of where parts go together, quite small, saying “step 1” end of story. No other steps, 1 schematic, no order in which to start. I need step by step first to get me going, I know I have all the right parts, just not quite sure which washer, bolt, etc goes where first. It doesn’t quite line up right with the holes right now.
Same here! Glad I found this video. I would have made a lot of mistakes.
You can slow down playback by clicking on the gear icon under the video window. I recommend 25%. You can skip forward and reverse by dragging the progress line. Turn off the sound. The music at quarter-speed will drive you nuts fast.
I seen people making and selling seats that are just the tractor seat on a pedestal. These are much better with the basket and wheels. Neat!
Get a nice 12 volt starter and battery and away you go.
This was great dad!
that's some awesome Canadiana right there
This is amazing!!! 🤩🤩
Wonderful tribute to Gordie obviously Burton and the Guess Who loved Gordie, and did pretty darn good themselves!
Love Guess Who! And I read that this was a tribute to the great Gordon Lightfoot. So it's doubly great then because I absolutely love Burton Cummings voice. ❤️
"Crossroads", "Early Morning Rain", and "Roseanna". All Lightfoot songs.
Joe you did a great job putting pictures to this song. You. certainly brought this song to life. I use to play guitar and sing a lot of Lightfoot song (of course in the basement) but could never sing this song through as I always would 'well up' and shed a few tears and being teased by friends and family. Haven't listened to this song for years but with you adding the perfect picture story to this song I began to 'well up' again. Nice Job Joe, hope you sent a copy to Mr. Lightfoot.
Goofy but sincere homage.
Wow I can't believe how turquoise that water is! And the snow...in July..wow!
Nice.
Niceplay!
Awesome song. I got to listen to *"The Patriot's Dream"* by Sir Gordon Lightfoot. Although recorded almost 50 yrs ago, it's just as relevant today.
Thank you, Jason. It's one of my favorites by him. I'm not aware of Gord being knighted.. Tho a few of us fans tried that for him a couple years ago.
@@joeboudreault4351 Google him. He received the *Order of Canada,* and the *Order of Ontario.*
@@jasoncarpp7742 Yep. A couple years ago some of us fans started an application to have Gord knighted. Seems it is not east to do - him being a Canadian...his awards like you mentioned are great but not knighthood...ie like what the queen gave Paul McCartney...
@@joeboudreault4351 Some people aren't very comfortable with things like being a celebrity, some aren't comfortable with things like being knighted.
@@jasoncarpp7742 yes, I agree. Lightfoot himself is an extremely humble and gracious man.
song off their Wheatfield Soul album......good tune....
