Hello everyone, my name is Amjad Mohammed, I worked in this place for two years from October 2015 to October 2017. As a security guard, I worked in the evening from 4:30 pm until the next morning at 7:30 am. I live in Glasgow and I used to come to work by train to Cardross station and from there I would continue by bike until I arrived for two years. I used to hear very strange sounds at night after 11 pm and very strange shapes of birds, especially in the winter. I used to see strange shapes, but I would face them.

That is so sad. A classic car just left to rot. I'm sure a good fabricator could make new parts for it, including a new floor, although the cost would most likely outweigh any other reason to restore.

It’s the not so old Scottish Widows HQ complex, the firm was taken over about 25 years ago ….the grounds and high crag behind this building are far more interesting than these buildings

Makes me think of late sixties architecture with features such as indirect lighting wells, vault floors, acid etched concrete finish influenced by Le Corbusier. Why was it abandoned and why was it not converted, the site is so great?
