That is such a great testimony. We as humans are tempted to rob glory that belongs to God alone. The Lord did a good job of teaching you to play piano. The Lord does all things well in His time. Every good and perfect gift is from above. Thank you, Jesus, for all You do for us, Your children!!!

Thank you, Eden.. I'm struggling right now, whether I continue with music school or not, because I think I am not growing as a pianist anymore, I become frustrated the more I go to classes, because of the classical pieces that I need to learn, but deep in my heart, I want to learn godly songs. I know that the Lord can teach me better, and I need to be content with it.

This is also so crazy right after I wrote that I found a piano studio / singer / teacher in my building 450 for 11 sessions and I just kept thinking He is my teacher. And so many believers I know were taught by the Lord by worshippping and I know its going to be possible because no one else will get the glory except Him

ALso it says 27th day of 5th month when your video pops up after saying when God calls you to do it He is faithful and HE will do it. Its been 5 months and 27th days since my birthday. To Abba father be the glory. Can't wait to worship and play the piano and sing for Him

I was praying and asking the Lord if I can learn to play again. Worship piano. And forgot about it for awhile but Eden I just bought a piano because of this.

Wow, what an interesting testimony, praise the Lord and congratulations in Jesus name for the good purpose this holy ghift has been used for. I am a self taught ear player as the gentleman Charlesab mentioned there as well in his comment and congratulate him as well; yes I did not take lessons either and I gently listen, read and contemplate in my head and play slowly songs, simple, not fast, (I don't like it) and I am grateful for the way they sound...so God is the author of this holy manifestation and give thanks to Him for blessing me in this gentle way😀🙏. I now work on adding chords to the melody notes on the right hand and join it with the left which is a more complex process but no matter, no need to hurry or panic but enjoy the difference and humbly appreciate it how gifted I am or God made me, rather, to be able to play the keyboard gently without having a clue of music jut relying on my holly ears, bless them and I am amazed what God can do, aleluia😀! It so happened, I prayed and prayed and asked God to teach me to play music. We are praising God

I`m 16 years old and in my church the sister who plays the piano sometimes is not able to go to church (only she knows how to play) so I feel God leading me to learn how to play, but this came to my mind when she was telling that she would help me and my mom to learn, she send a great nootbook and I stated to study by myself wating until she talks with me, but she no longer talk about it, so I`m just learning by myself with that notebook and youtube's videos and the strength of God. (I'm not fluent in english, so if something is wrong help me)

I want to play guitar for the glory of god and I'm thinking of taking guitar classes in the spring semester of the junior college I'm thinking about going to. Pray for me guitar is hard and everything hurts, I'm going through the hump phase.

My first songs I played in church is The deer panteth and Come LORD Come. Yes amen the LORD has called me to sing and play piano. Teach his word. And he helps me. 😁

Many people may be equipped but are not "called". A person would think that God would call only the ones that have special skills. The reality is God often uses those that are more submitted and listen to His voice. He will then equip those that are called. Walk on and close to God everyday. ☺♥†♪♫ 1-27-25

I am on the same boat. I grew up singing , but never had a teacher. Music class was always full. Never got a teacher because of how expensive they can be. As desperate as I wanted someone to teach me, I think God had other things in mind. it lead me to turn to him instead. And it makes sense to me now watching this video. I don’t think he wants me to turn to anyone besides him. He deserves all the glory.

Music is a gift , seems to run in families, He said the gifts are given without repentance. Most :stars : singers and musicians started out in the church, then sadly sold out to the world , our gifts will either be one of greatest blessings or will become a curse to us !!

That’s how I learned. You’re not alone. I was not allowed to major in it because I had no background coming from a remote part of the world. I prayed everyday. God answered my prayers.. today I play at churches and have students that I teach for free! God does what’s best for his Glory!

My grandmother played piano beautifully, by ear. She couldn’t read a note of music. I took lessons and love playing the piano, but have always wanted to play by ear. You are blessed!

Me too. One Wednesday dawn in early 2022 I called the Holy Spirit to help me when I was a beginner.I didn't even know how to play with all fingers. I'm now at the masters' level 🎹 by God's grace

So many stories are similar to mine! Always wanted to play and play a little bit, but then God moved me to a home missions church, where there was only one other person playing the piano, and they desperately needed help and confidence, so God called me to step into that role, and he taught me how to play And lead worship and I know it is 100% the Lord. When something like this happens to you, you know better than to try to take any credit or glory because you know 100% it’s the Lord doing it because there’s no other way you could be doing it. This is how I feel and I’m so thankful. If there’s an open spot in a need in the church and you’re willing to step into it, he will help you. What is that saying? God doesn’t call qualified he qualifies the called. How wonderful to read your stories. Everyone look how the Lord has done so many wonderful things.

I pray for this, too. We just inherited my husband’s father’s piano. I have taken lessons over the years, and can never get both hands to sync up. I am a flutist and singer but piano is my dream.

U gotta realize tho, that verse is of many, addressed to the unbelievers and sinners, adulterers, murderers, etc, who do these things in vain. This wasn't directed to his faithful servants. However, Paul explained about praying and gifts, and distribution of those from God to us, I believe in Corinthians. I been playin piano since 5 and am now 46 and as far as I'm concerned, I totally suck!^^ However, what I DO have, God gave me, instilled in me, and it's up to me to put in the work (practice) to get full potential of his blessing, and I obviously haven't, for many years. That's changing now. New keyboard is on the way as I type this (ordered at least). I know 100% God installed that in you, it was always there, b4 u were even born, or your parents. PRAISE THE LORD!! \O>

They believe they are saved as they are.. they are lost..😢 John 3:3 Jesus said to Nichodemus..Unless you are born again in The Holy Spirit.. you cannot see the kingdom of God.. Repentance is needed to receive the Holy Spirit.. When we receive the Holy Spirit.. we become a new person in Christ.. The Holy Spirit.. dwelling in us.. gives us peace.. comfort.. joy and encouragement.. helps us overcome sin and guides us in good works through His Spirit.. not of ourselves.. None are righteous.. but if we listen and obey the guidance of The Holy Spirit.. we will live more righteous lives.. Titus 2:11-12 11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.. 12. Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts.. we should live soberly.. righteously and Godly in this present world.. Shared with love..

My guess is you are a better than average piano player. Where you really stand out is your love for God.
