You cannot change the colours of a photograph, so I can't say that you would be able to "apply" it. If you upload the photograph to Canva or use a colour picker from your browser - provided the photograph is on the web - you can pick up any colour that way.

To be fair, this is quite an old tutorial and there are some newer frames that allow you to create slanted framed designs.

This is probably a stupid suggestion, but sometimes you need to restart the app. I have had this happen as well and a restart generally sorted the problem out. If it doesn't or you've done this and it still does not show your text, are you sure your fonts are compatible? This shouldn't have an impact, but it may. Also something else you may try - if the text is just purely invisible on your background, change the colour. I hope you get this right. If you don't, your next step should definitely be to reach out to support@canva.com

Hey Brenda, I'm not much of a phone user so cannot give you advice on this. I only use the web-based app or desktop app. The phone is used for quick and easy on-the-go visuals, not for the more heavy-lifting stuff I do on the regular.

Hello and thank you for your question. If you click only on the textbox and select the text box (outside) you can copy and paste with the effects. If you double click and select the text INSIDE of the text box, once pasted it has lost its effect.

I think you're referring to the home screen. If you're on the web interface, you click on "Canva" top left. If you're on the desktop app, you click on the little home icon top left. On your phone the three lines top left and then on "Canva". Let me know if this is helpful.

@alipainting i was wondering the same thing, too. However, I figured it out. The problem I face is that I need the same design on two different size labels, and with copy and paste, I still had to move and resize, etc. However, open any project that you have been working on. On the left-hand side panel, click "projects." Inside there, it will show your different folders and designs. Simply click the design you want whilst having the 2nd blank design open. Once you click it, a pop-up will ask you to "add template as new page," or you can also select "replace current page" if needed too. It completely solved my problem of having to resize. Hope this helps. It takes maybe 6 clicks max.

I think your best option would be to try the background remover and finer editing it with the tools provided in-app. You could also use Magic Grab and or the magic eraser. Failing all that - you probably might have to hand it over to somebody who can help you with a Photoshop edit.

While your design is open, click on apps in the left-hand menu and type in Pexels/Pixabay in the search bar at the top. From there you can select the app you want to go to. Updated tutorial to follow.

That is very strange. When I noticed your comment I immediately tried copying and pasting on the desktop app and it works. Even when I right-click and select copy and again right-click and paste it on a different design. Likewise when I press Ctrl & C and then again Ctrl & V. Can you give a little more detail, please?

If you are talking about building a website in Canva to sell as a service, I wouldn't advise that.

@@oneeyedpapi8058 it's not a website in the true sense of the word. It's essentially a graphic that you created and then published with a viewable link. Yes, you can connect to payment portals etc., but for SEO purposes this would not be my recommendation. You would be better off building websites on any of the platforms designed specifically for websites.

Wix is similar to canva and Google sites. i have seen people sell templates and even offer to pt them together for a price. i think im going to try to sell this as a service. but i appreciate you responding back quickly.

There is no MailerLite logo in Canva.

You will need to detach the background from the design in order to copy it over. when you right click on the background you will have the option to detach from design or detach background. That way you can copy all across.

Hi there! I am so super happy you found this useful. You are able to publish ANY design created within Canva as a website. When you click on share, click on the 3 dots at the bottom that say more. Under that, you will find the option "website". Click that and it will that you can save your design as a website.

@@CanvaQueen I see that but I don't have the option to save it in Presentation format and it changes the alignment of my canva design.
