Anothet issue Control input seems to be completely on Steam. It wasn't before but suddenly now it is. Whether steam input is on or off it just can't find the controller. It displays the "control configuration" window when I start the game. Same issue in Lego Batman. (I'm on Linuxmint)

Sorry for all the pausing at the start, PlayStation 5 controllers always have trouble with the touch pad. You will notice that when the game prompts me to look at a note in the journal I will shoot my gun, I am not clicking the trigger I am using the touch pad but it registers as the trigger I guess.
