bless be this guide. lost my mind on the other. for the ending, I just fused the two grade 7 gems to get rid of both wallbreakers
Oh that’s a pretty tidy system for the Shapez logo.
There is reliable way to do it, generally speaking use your strategy at end, but summon few waves early to get 3 lvl 1 purple gems (somewhere before wave 15). 3 lvl1 purples are on armor targetting. and those 2 starting gems are at start forward so they start shooting early. If any of them idle put them forward. That is reliable way of doing it.
I beat it using the giant juggling method. I called everything early, blocked off the bottom, and put both grade 5s in the top right. Then I used two towers to block the top, placing one first then opening the bottom before closing the top to make them go around. Whenever a gem was getting out of range I would move it into range again. I used another two towers to block the end of the bottom, I placed one tower, opened the top by demolishing the last tower, then closed the bottom. Also, during this I placed two more towers between the island with towers and the one to the right of it to give them a longer path. When all was said and done I had enough mana and demolitions left for one for reversing so I am reasonably confident that it is a much more reliable method, and easier too. As an added bonus I also got 31k XP instead of the 4k I would get by not calling everything early. Edit: ran it again: This time I used all my demolitions but I did get a little bit more XP. Guess I am getting a lot of low rolls on the damage I think the trials are really dumb in this game. So much trial and error
Personally I didn't find any "dumb" trial. Some are clever, some captious, some easy, some annoying (like this one). It's a mechanic build in GemCraft since beginning, developed over many years (times, where there was no such things like early access). If you want more of a casual experience like maxing your wave counter Chasing Shadows is your pick but still - Adobe Flash origin of this game puts a big bottleneck on all GemCraft series to this date. Moreover - Frostborn Wrath and Chasing Shadows using different mechanics that's why many CS fanbase didn't liked FW and vice versa. Personally I think that was a good decision to change something while releasing FW. At the time when FW had it's release CS mechanics was already worn out (doesn't mean it was bad - nope, CS was [and IS] awesome). Players (and also developers) wanted something different and that's why FW was born. It's great game just like CS but you have to keep in mind that some key mechanics differ.
You can summon in the first 14 waves or so slightly early to get 2 lvl 1 purple gems in your left tower, let them target highest armor That way you might only need 5 attempts instead of 15 or 20
What a dumb challenge this is You literally put your towers up and wait 5 minutes, hoping you don´t get unlucky
there are more successful strategies for this trial (like many others in this game). This is just mine. If you disagree you can apply different one.

Fun fakt: po pierwsze primo, jak pewnie już wiadomo to jest starsze od krainy grzybów (kraina grzybów specjalnie jest zrobiona by wyglądała na stare). Po drugie primo, oczywiście że nie tak wygląda jamniczek. Na tym polega cały urok .😊

Its always these polish films that have a charm to them. They’re surreal, but have a unique moral behind them.
put one tower where the top one is in the video and gem in there. put another one so bottom path is blocked. put 2nd gem left of first one. that way towers are idling less and can both shoot on all monsters. still RNG but less so. Worked for me on 2nd try with first one failing right at the end.
Ah, after a few fails I followed the video more exactly but with a slight improvement near the start (or maybe RNG luck). I think maybe it was triggering the wave 6 swarm early so to deal with it before the wallbreakers. Something like that seemed to have a knock on effect that made me from there slightly ahead of the video in mana and that carried on to the win. Wallbreakers didn't even get as far as in the video. Trying to prevent banishment (as in the video) is also a major thing that will obviously conserve mana (more than using orange gems).
In this specific trial every banished retracts 80 mana (even if it's swarmling) so it's quite important to not let them through.
For this one I tried to vary it a bit but found lots of ways it didn't work, such as: * Putting better walls - no, that causes too much delay to the mana (but can be useful later on as a slight improvement). * Blocking some areas that wouldn't be affected by the shrine - no, that tends to speed up the monsters' path, whereas they need to be delayed as much as possible to build mana, so best to just make it as squiggly as possible, but consider the above too, therefore "good enough" is best at first, like in the video. * Timing the shrines to activate as soon as they reach 200% so no wastage (about wave 20) - no, better to send all 24 waves and "waste" that bit of charge for the extra mana boost. * Only doing 1 shrine usage for the level 6 gem instead of 2 so you have an extra level 7 gem usage - no, the delay from using it twice with the level 6 gem is useful plus the wait causes more shrine wastage 😑 So in the end I just tried following every same step in the video instead - though with a bit of wall improvement in the end. It turned out quite comfortably although my slight differences in timing seemed to result in an extra 40-50k loss from banishment compared to the video 😂 Btw - it looks like about 3:44 would have been the best time for that shrine but it was done a little late. But judging by my experience maybe yours was better 😂
Looks like it requires careful timing. Interestingly I just used the "surround pylon with many crit gems" strategy on an earlier mission so it was interesting to see that that's the idea for this trial. I also wonder if you're supposed to trigger all the waves semi-early and have a normal tower to deal with those first or if that will just backfire (guardians may be most of the way there, plus they get stronger over time).
I get about 5 times as many swarmlings spawning when I kill the queen. Die every time I pop one. Doesn't matter which one I pop.
Remember that each killed swarmling spawns another one. That's why i try to freeze them asp when they are in group and use beam to speed things up.
@@awertyk I think that was it, I wasn't killing enough enemies when the frozen monsters exploded.
Took a few tries for this too.
Beacons RNG make it different for each gameplay.
Managed after about 4 tries. Killed the queens before the last wave but I made 16 gems instead of 10 along the path. Near the start one black swarmling managed to get through but it was very low health and died in the next round :) Also destroyed the monster nest in the last second.
Did first time (after watching this). One of my towers was destroyed near the end with the grade 4 gem inside but the other one was ok, the watchtowers finished the monsters off before my mana could get dangerously low and the watchtowers seemed to be generous after that in only targeting the last monsters :)

Finally got there. most attempts so far. gotta take it super slow. Start hitting wall breakers the frame they appear. They end game I built to was 1 grade 7 y/p, with 4 grade 5's by my orb.

My tip for this one would be to constantly call waves early to maintain 30+ monsters on the field at all times. More monster means better odds of them getting targeted by the watchtowers instead of your own towers. worked for me after a few tries.

Good to know, I will probably leave it unless I'm in the mood. I have already had a few frustrating trials that I thought "never again" about once completed, like the shriney one being the latest that comes to mind.
I just managed to beat it, a key is to trigger the wave 6 swarm early before the wallbreakers move much (and deal with that swarm first), other than that try to follow the video exactly but you will be at a slight advantage compared to the video (or maybe it was just rng). I ended up with extra time for the wallbreakers and more mana gain. The hardest part is the first and second wallbreaker waves and it gets easier if you get over that hurdle. I had pretty wrecked the wallbreakers compared to the video by the wave 30 swarms also.
This is easily the worst trial I've tried so far. I had to basically follow your video wave-by-wave in order to make this one work after about 10 attempts. Thank you for all of your videos! I've never messed with the trials too much because they tend to be far too much guessing and revising multiple times with basically no reward until you finally win. It's trials like A2 which make me wish that Game in a Bottle at least showed you your previous tower/wall placement after a failed trial.

Some trials are engaging enough to forget at the end of it strategy you wanted to deploy. Quick "roll me back in time to my failed initial setup" button would be QoL improvement.
This one was especially tough. On my successful attempt I ended up with 18 towers in total (11 with rank 2 gems before start), pushing every gem to rank 3 as soon as mana would allow. no monsters bleed through until about wave 18 - 20. then I got a few towers near the end to rank 5 when I had extra mana and it was safe to do so. All towers were set to focus swarmlings for the entire battle.

The goal here is definitely to call early as many waves as possible before the spiritforge gems break any tombs because those monsters are way too overpowered to handle. Great strategy video!

Thanks for this one! I did not realize that you could combine your own gems with the Spiritforge's gems. All other maps the CPU upgrades the Spiritforge gems on its own.

You can combine gems with towers controlled from inside the spiritforge???
yup, maybe it's a bug or hidden feature that was never noticed during game development and patching. I think that maybe I discovered it first because I've never seen in community focused around this game single mention about this. And sice last patch for this game went live in 2021 it's still working.
To be more precise - this only works if you combine gem from inside of your inventory. Combine (your)tower to (spiritforge)tower doesn't work so if you want to combine gem with spiritforge gem you have to remove it from your tower to your inventory first.

O/ jakieś sugestie jak przejść Journey wersję po patchu? Bo dziady dołozyli 3 zera do armoru guardiana. WL 270.
True Colors, Resonance, Traps, Mana Leech, na tym powinieneś się skupić. Od tego momentu (WL270) możesz już skupiać się tylko na pułapkach (wieże tylko do zdejmowania specjalnych/latających). W talizmanach staraj się o takie puzzle które mają +1 to all (to najważniejszy stat). Nie wiem w zasadzie co Tobie doradzić bo A4 na Journey jest w zasadzie formalnością, nie powinno być Tobie trudno a jeżeli tak jest musisz coś zmienić w stylu swojej gry. Przede wszystkim skup się na wbiciu wyższego WL i farmieniu talizmanów (A1J jest dobre do tego). Staraj się też mieć wysoko Seeker Sense żeby móc talizmany szybko wbijać na wyższy lvl.
Pamiętaj też, że na pewnym etapie gry (powiedzmy WL300 ale wydaje mi się, że na 270 można już się przestawiać) czyste gemy stają się silniejsze od mieszanych dlatego farmę many powinieneś mieć np: 1 czysty niebieski w pierwszej pułapce dla czystego spowalniania (z wbitym beam) 5 czystych pomarańczowych w następnych 5 pułapkach (z wbitym barrage) otoczonych przez 10 wzmacniaczy z czystymi pomarańczowymi W strefie zabijania (killing zone) powinieneś mieć: 3 czyste żółte w pułapkach (z wbitym bolt) otoczonych przez 6 wzmacniaczy z czystymi żółtymi To jest m. in. jedna z tych większych zmian w porównaniu do Chasing Shadows. W CS było odwrotnie czyli od pewnego momentu gemy mieszane stawały się mocniejsze od czystych.

I've been trying to do it for the last half hour or so (~10 attempts). To say it's RNG is to put it mildly. sometimes I lose at wave 15, sometimes after the last one half-beaten. Fucking hell. upd8: finally got it on attempt 18. That was painful, I'd say.
