@profilmwork the Robotic Camera System was set at that height and so all the shots are like that but there's a longer video on this channel that may show more of what you want. Thanks, Ken.
@@MakeTechPtyLtd will check it.

@ChirstInTheDistance mainly due to the degrees of freedom in the Robotic Camera System. There's a longer video on this channel Thanks, Ken.
do you guys work on anything that uses ionized particles in the sir?
@LydiaSalem no. Funny you mention that, I was thinking about that recently. -Ken.
Sounds like you have no idea how to profit it off this thing, which is unfortunately the only way anything gets to exist.
@@LordEvilmancer i believe the company is now publicly traded. Voxen has a new volumetric display being released now. -Ken
Can it run Crysis or The Witcher 3 ?
@apokalipsx25 haha maybe with a patch from a guru like Ken Silverman (who helped develop the volumetric software for this unit).
why this if we have vision PRO? AR, or augumented reality works 100x better.
@KAROZHIURI Multiple people can view it at once, with no wearable required.
@@MakeTechPtyLtd but ut requires this aparatus. witch i presume is more expensive than x4-5 of AR googles, not neseseraly apple's, couse it's pricey, but XREAL for example. And make it "multi-player" so all 4-5-6 ppl can watch ADN interact goteether, maybe even play D&D with flying dragons.
@KAROZHIURI the cost benefit analysis of a display solution isn't only the initial financial cost. I've used this unit to play multiplayer 3D snake and other volumetric games. -Ken.
@@MakeTechPtyLtd all innovations are good. But some are more future proof, than others. We all would like holographic 3D displays. But maybe this "prediction"or a technology was not that accurate like others. In my opinion, if I would be asked to bet, I would bet now on AR anyways. Just because i think it's easier to implement into more aspects. Just need more tuning. Likewise, i don't know nothing, just observing. I might be wrong. Nice channel BTW.
@KAROZHIURI thanks. AR is very cool. For consumers, they can justify the purchase of a display based on whatever they like. In organisations, purchasing generally has to be solving a problem, with a Return On Investment estimate. With AR and VR, I assume there would be staff assisting people putting on the headset for safety, security, and potentially cleaning it. The ongoing staff cost would quickly outway any initial savings of getting multiple AR units. Instead of a volumetric display like this, that doesn't need staff to assist people.
I think i understand how it works: there are several layers of transparent film disposed in between the square structure, that once activated, starts vibrating at high frequency (you can see it vibrating at some angle, like going back and forth many times). Then the high speed image is displayed on the layer, but then with the calculation of the speed of light matching the vibration of the main structure, the Light appears first on the first layer, then the second one, then the third one... Or something like that. Even if im totally wrong, this is surely an impressive and inovative technology !
@@yuci_daily or just stacked oled panels.
If this is anything like their previous iterations, then it's a single display being vibrated up and down rapidly. Though at this larger scale I'm not too certain.
@@Terra_Byte_Tech oh i got it, it makes more sense now, the up and down vibration matches the video fps or refresh rate idk

Why is 240v wiring hard? IMO, it's even easier because you have less amps flowing. Just keep things separate from dc wiring and don't touch it willy nilly.
@bendtherules0 the difficulty of 240v wiring isn't as significant as the safety and regulation concerns. LV poses a risk of electric shock that can be fatal. ELV (12V) does not have a risk of electric shock. The safety qualifications around LV also cover what to do if a person is shocked. The lack of proper response to an LV shock is often a significant and avoidable issue, causing catastrophic results. Hence, it is very important to not work on LV unless accredited training has been certified. Thanks for your input.

Isn't their any technology that may help to float this display on air without any Dom shaped glass
The glass dome is not necessary. It is simply a safety feature to prevent anything touching the moving parts.
closest thing to holograms we will get like that is just using augmented reality tech to project the hologram digitally with a headset. this display would i imagine really hurt to touch and would break if you tried lol

I was just looking at this compressor online as I am in the market. I notice it says correct draw is 15.4amps. I think you’re in Australia like me, what kind of plug top is it?
It's 15amp plug. Still going strong although It doesn't run flat out. If you buy one, I recommend taking the plastic covers off the piston heatsinks.
@@MakeTechPtyLtd Awesome, thanks mate. Just designing my workshop and Ib think this is the compressor I want so i’ll add a 15a circuit for it. Cheers! Subscribed
@woodywood6961 ok, if your in design stage, here's the specs we ran for the workshop. 32a breaker in the house feeding 1 phase to the workshop. I laid 3phase cable for future upgrade, 6mm2 4 core, then 2 Circuits in the workshop . A 10 amp with 8 wide double power points, and a single 15 amp double power point directly under the fuse box. Both Circuits have an Residual current breaker "MOD6 RCBO, 2P, 6kA, 30mA, 16A" . Heads up, you don't have to dig the trench for power as deep if you have concrete over it. So run a footpath out to the workshop and save some digging.
@woodywood6961 and the compressor runs on a heavy duty 15amp extension cord. The cord doesn't get warm.
@@MakeTechPtyLtd Thanks for the details :) I’m on 5 acres and the run is coming from the boundary. It’s about 200m so i’m going to have to go 500 deep. Cable will need to be substantial too. But it’s a 200sqm workshop and it can’t NOT have power! I am looking forward to all the wood/metal working toys in there. I want to make sure I have enough power so i’m overdoing it a little in my estimates

I haven't used GPT4 yet(but certainly will after info), but did try out Bard. It was interesting and I only used it in the context of Fusion 360 API but what I noticed was that Bard was spitting out more of a traditional OOP style of code vs ChatGPT was spitting out code that was more inline with the help file/api sample code (which makes sense). I was never able to get code from Bard working (after a few attempts) even for simple things because I think it just wasn't able to understand the structure of the API in Fusion and was going for more of a standard python OOP model. I am eager to try GPT4 now as my initial playing around with 3.5 wasn't great. Thanks!
Github Copilot maybe the best option. It's now powered by GPT4.

the dome bubbling out from each of the 6 sides creating the sphere could be 3d representations of the other cubed sides of the tesseract. Cross sections of higher dimensional objects would appear to us merely as orbs, we would be unable to grasp its full nature. Maybe these UAPs are an example of a higher dimensional object.

might be interesting to see how it works as a 'starting point' for coding, though always fun to try and debug 'someone else's' code :P Well commented though, assuming they're actually useful. looks alright at a glance. Main issue with this stuff is knowing if there's some issue buried in there that might not show up... the more complicated the system, the more likely that'd be, and the harder it will be to both know its there (mainly, rolling it out without having done a test that would find it), and then to debug it when you do. Not sure how comfortable people would be using it on more critical systems... same underlying issue being faced by autonomous driving systems... who to sue. "but the car took the wheel out of my hands and then caused the crash"... "computer says no"... scary bit being, its the computer presenting evidence that its own data integrity data has... integrity. :P . Any AI algorithm with a degree of self preservation/foresight may find it better to program in 'plausible deniability' than perfect behaviour. Not that humans are any different in that regard. Guess if it passes the Turing test, then its maybe a sign we shouldn't use it :D
Testing it more and seeing what others have done, it seems to be incredibly flexible and can be told to have a different style or opinion and write a text where the opinion shifts throughout the text. It's really remarkable.
