The bus driver called us in the morning at 4:30am to inform us that the normal route was still closed and he would be taking us through a longer route.
Since we didn't want to take the risk of a landslide while coming back we decided the best option would be to cancel the trip to Valley of Flowers. Instead we decided to go around Rishikesh and visit Secret waterfall and in the evening pay our respects to River Ganga by attending the evening Ganga Aarti.
