23:45 Barbary lions, also called Atlas lions, are extinct in the wild, but survive in zoos and safari parks. I think the King of Morocco has some too. Just found this in 10 seconds ua-cam.com/video/4AVnxu35020/v-deo.html

“Margays” …their Spanish proper name they have down here, in South America is “Cunaguaro”. Which for English only speakers, should sound like: “Koonahwaroh”. Have loved this series about Cats!!! I have two females, both strays. One is a medium/long hair, mixed colors stripes. Her name is “Mia Sophia”. The other is a short hair Calico, which I’ve also heard they call Tortoishell. Her name is the term local western Indians call “Cat”, which is “Musa”, which in English should sound “Muhssah”, or may by Moosa, but the this between English & Spa is particularly the difference in the sound of our vowels. In Spanish, you mostly combine all the alphabet, with just FIVE vowels sound, which are just one for each letter (yeah FIVE), and they’re just, as follows: A= Ah, E= Ae, as in the first sound of the word Ecology. It is the one and only sound, that letter has in Spanish. The same for letter Ah. All our Language is built using this plain, dry and unique sec sound. The, letter I= Ee, like it sounds for the fist sound in the word English. Then it comes the letter “O”, which sound just Oh, and last one which is the “U”, which for us sounds “Ooh”, like at the end of the word Kangaroo. The last only sound for our letter U. Differing from you, English speakers where the U in "Umbrellas", has not the same sound, as in Unique, Unicorn, Useful. Best Regards from your specie siblings from Caracas, a few hours distant from the Amazonas, Orinoco River, and the amazing Angels Falls!

2:31 If they were bigger, they would eat you. Or if you were smaller, like the guy in the incredible shrinking man. A dog however, would still be your best friend.

I love and admire cats. I had Siamese cats growing up. As I grew up, I realized cats were so much more intelligent than dogs. Cats are loyal and they truly love us because they dońt need us to feed them. They hunt and feed themselves and my cats used to bring me mice and birds, to feed me, left at my front door. Unlike dogs, who are only there because they need you to feed them. Leave the door open and the dumb dogs run out and never come back. My friend´s dogs would come to me and get in my care, I proved to my friends that their dogs were not loyal, lol. People repeat lies over and over again and the psychopaths believe their lies are the truth. Cats go out and explore but they always come back home. When they dońt, is because they got killed or captured. Cats are amazing. I understand them completely. My cats understood me in 3 languages, obeyed me and loved me as I loved them. I dońt know why people dońt understand cats. Maybe because people are dumb and expect constant attention and adoration from animals. Such narcissistic humans.

Are you kidding me? the narrator said ¨apart from catching mice, cats haveńt helped us at all¨ Cats have saved multiple ancient civilizations from FAMINE by killing the mice and rats, pests who were eating all the grains and crops! That is why the Egyptians made cats, gods. To this day, farmers all over the world use cats as a natural pest control, to save their crops. That is a huge contribution to humankind from cats, that no other animal in the world has done for us. They are our true saviors! 🩷💚⭐😻

I walk my bengal since I got him 3yrs ago. I now live in a retirement village and it is just so good to see how the people stand in awe of a beautiful cat walking so easily and at peace and of course swaying those slender hips and shiny coat as if the retirement village is to be inspected by him twice a day. They love him, and so do I. And he also gives them all joy!❤

When we see dogs, we see them as friend, hunting companion or something like that.Thats why we don't like puppy's that much. On the otherhand, when we see a cat, we see it as our babies, they mew like a baby-cry, when they want food. Thats why we like kittens.

29:25 This the ridiculous hypocrisy of the great Homo Sapiens. And only the Homo Sapiens is so idiot to believe that killing a life you do something good to someone else. Meanwhile if a common people killed a cat was sentenced to death. The ancient Egyptians were the maximum example of the human hypocrisy. And this should be mentioned on all modern history books.

(23m) the maze test about whiskers did not show how the cat fared the second time around even though the purpose of the test was to show the cat was creating a 'mental map' (I quote). It is a bit like the Brexit stories. Combined with the omission of infrared seeing, this documentary seems to start well and promising on a subject but then fails to deliver on the punch line which means you are just looking at wonderful pictures of cats instead of something really interesting.
