Thanks for having me on your Podcast @10adventures and Richard!
Our pleasure! Thank you for all your insights Martin!
It's not about the destination but the road you travelled. So it was great. I think this was even more rewarding. Thanks for sharing
What a great message. We are so happy to be able to amplify it.
Absolutely love Patrick's book! Couldn't put it down ❤
So glad you enjoyed! His story was so inspiring and was such a great guest to talk to.
You didn’t stay in one place I had trench foot in Northampton 😂
Wow really?! Hope it's okay now
You got lucky 😂
He may have, you're right!
Won’t be biking in jasper this summer
Sadly it might not be possible :(
Wonderful interview from an enlightening writer and nomad! Ralph Waldo Emerson, a transcendentalist, said, "To be great is to be misunderstood." You have to live your life on your terms. No one else will live your life for you. The only time they do is when you follow their footsteps exactly. That's like trying to wear someone else's shoes when they don't fit your feet. Your footprint is uniquely yours, make your path your own path.
Well said! Such great words and wisdom and it resonates with everything we stand for. Lisa was a great guest and we are excited to share more of her message!
Where do I go to fuck hot Scott dudes?
They are the furthest apart on mainland of Britain that can be travelled on public roads., but we do have islands you know, and the Isles of Scilly and the Shetland isles are much further apart.
He does specifically say Great Britain and not the United Kingdom.
Yes in Great Britain as the other commentor said.
Great interview! You may want to check out The Hiking Rev, I think he finished the PCT when he was 67.
We will check it out, thanks for the suggestion!
Love them been watching them for years.. so inspiring ❤
100% agree! We loved their story and are so happy we can help share it.
I have been following these amazing women for years. They are truely inspirational. They work all year round on their fitness so they are able to hike and cycle in their retirement years. Their financial outlays must be covered by good pensions/investments. It's not cheap to travel even though they have an RV.
Yes from the interview we could tell that they are as smart as they are ambitious. They make it look easy but we can see how hard they have worked to make the life they want work for them. Truly inspiring!
Live, get out there, move, nature yourself, meet new people. Keep learning and challenging yourself! Watch their UA-cam channel! It's wonderful. Every day I try to use these mantras in my own life. It's so encouraging to follow fellow seekers of discomfort❤😊
Yes we love their message and we're so happy we are able to amplify it to another audience. Their authenticity and approach to life is something we wholeheartedly support. Love it!
Wow. Great interview!!!!
It was a pleasure to have them!
What a beautiful interview. I love you Kristi and Annette. You are my inspiration.
They are amazing and inspirational people!
Love these ladies - have followed them for years. They’re amazing. Great interview.
We agree! They're so authentic and inspirational.
It's always great to hear more of Kristy and Annette's story, they are so inspirational! And if anyone is thinking they're too old; Grandma Gatewood was 67 the FIRST time of 3, that she thru-hiked the AT. And Nimblewill Nomad was 83 the most recent time he did it. And he's done the entire AT in the US, plus the IAT in Canada, more than once. 😊 When I grow up, I want to be Grandma Gatewood 😊 I'm 57 this year 😂
Love that! So many great stories out there and we are so happy to be able to share some from these two inspirational people. Thanks for sharing!
Great interview. I’ve been watching The Wander Women Kristi and Annette since the Appalachian Trail. They are truly inspiring.
Yes they are! It was a great conversation and truly inspiring to hear about what they've done!
I love these women!! They are doing wonderful, fun things.
Such great guests and so inspiring!
Two of the most inspiring people on social media. I love that they’re living life on their terms. ❤
Yes it was a great conversation and we loved the message they provided.
I think a book is in the future???
haha yes! They have so much material!
Loved this interview. I have been following and being inspired by these women for years…they are totally authentic and they show that we can do hard things..whatever that may be, and that we can do it joyfully and with a grateful heart.
Yes they were such great people to interview. So authentic and so many great insights. I look forward to having them back on the show again one day after they've tackled even more adventures!
I've followed these two for a long long time. Loved hearing this podcast, learning new things from them...they are always inspiring!
Glad you enjoyed it! I had a blast listening to everything they had to say. Great people!
AMEN!! ❤❤ Thank you🦋
You are so welcome!
These women are remarkable and such an inspiration. I have been following them on UA-cam since near the beginning, and they still inspire me to step out of my comfort zone and learn to live my best life. Thanks for having them!
So glad we were able to share more of their story because we agree, they were a blast to have on the show and we loved how much enthusiasm and positive energy they have. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic interview. These gals are so inspiring.
They have so many great stories it's hard to pack it all in one episode! We will have to get them back on the show again one day so that they can share more of their authentic selfs!
Really enjoyed the interview. I always hear something new every time I hear of your adventures. Keep on being a bright light to all. Much love!💕
Thanks for listening! Glad you enjoyed and can't wait to share another one :)
Awesome interview! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
These women are inspiring, engaging, authentic, and incredibly strong. After watching their UA-cam channel for a while, had the pleasure of randomly meeting them on a trail in Tucson and told them that when they hiked through Oregon on the PCT, to let me know and I’d provide trail magic. That was several years ago and remained in contact ever since. They helped with valuable info for our trip to Slovenia and continue to prompt us as seniors to keep moving !
That is an amazing story! We're so glad we could be part of their journey and help share stories like these to more people. Truly inspirational.
I'm always inspired by the Wander Women. A delightful interview... thank you for posting it.
Our pleasure! They were a blast to have on the show and we hope to have them back on again to share more insights with us!
We love it! Thanks for inviting us on your podcast.

Great advice! Started strength training at 45 years old and seeing so many benefits!
So glad you saw those benefits! It's so important and we're glad we could share this message!
Really excited to cycle the Icefields this summer!
Such a bucket list adventure! Enjoy the travels and have fun!
who the hell is this nerd
is it; running out of fuel, or increased lactic acid from anaerobic respiration (i stand corrected) subscribed..
Glad you found this video informative!
First of all its too long video man make it shorter so more people's will see bigger is not always better man 🤪
Thanks for letting us know! We always try to improve the channel so we'll keep this in mind :)
i get told off by my adult kids because i talk to anyone .im 57 and grew up with neighbours who were like family .a stranger is a friend you haven't met
Love this philosophy! We need more of it around!
The best cure for prejudice is travel.
We cannot agree more with this.
This was an absolutely wonderful conversation. I watch a lot of podcasts and I dislike it when the host clearly hasnt engaged or even read a book and they're discussing. Glen's insights were fantastic and so was your ability to let him continue talking without interrupting. I genuinely hope your channel continues to grow, you really deserve a lot of success.
Thanks for the kind words and support! Glen was a great guest and he had so much interesting experiences and stories to share. It's hard not to dive into the details with him as there's always a little more golden nuggets to uncover. Thanks for watching!
Well said!
He was a great guest!
😴 'Promo SM'
Hope you enjoyed it!
Ashu keep up spirit
Thanks for the support!
A very interesting talk and relatable as an Indian. As a developing country that aims for a ‘developed nation’ status by 2047, the reality of villages and rural areas here is fast changing making most villagers want to turn towards urbanised living not having experienced it’s downsides yet. There’s a lot of truth in these words, someone who has slowed down and made a conscious choice to walk instead of speeding past a place would know much more of the little nuances of it and its people. India is so huge, and literally each person’s story is extremely unique, but overall as urbanisation and concretisation is taking over and as modernisation is being equalised to westernisation, villages here are bearing the effects of that faulty definition of development.
It was such a great podcast and Ashutosh really highlighted some interesting perspectives of modernization that many people wouldn't normally think of. I agree in that the walking journey allowed him to absorb more insights that we are grateful to have had the pleasure of listening to during our talk.
