Most beautiful Windir song ever. It makes my skin cold and makes me wish I had the chance to hear this live! I love the guitar harmonies and how epic it is. Quite possibly the most perfect song ever written in the history of forever.

I play a style of Black Metal similar to that of Wolves In The Throne Room(My favorite band of all time). I even to a spiritual name, Sequoia, because it represented my very wise personality and the fact that I always do the right thing. I am the vocalist and instrumentalist for 2 self-founded bands. When Terje died I drove myself to the Psych Ward to talk to a therapist about it. I was very emotionally distraught, but then again, who wouldn't be distraught over the death of a musical genius?

I met Terje before he died. At a live show, I was and still am a big fan of Windir. I had just bought their 3rd album 1184, which I still have today. The CD is signed by Baaken and the rest of the band. He was one of the most inspirational living beings I had ever met. Because of him, I decided to start playing folk metal music. He also made me want to connect with my Dakota Sioux roots. We remained in touch through e-mail and I still remain in touch with his brother and the rest of the band.

Finally! Someone who agrees with me that rap music is just turning the music industry into lazy slackers who care more about money than about talent.Nowadays, no one wants to pick up a guitar, because hey, they can just do it on the computer now. Music is not a business, music is done because it soothes the soul in such a way that the normal pleasures of life cannot. Nowadays sampling songs and talking over them is considered talent.Not in my book.

This song is so beautiful. This performance is also absolute top class. Valfar was a true genius.
