I am Mohammed Irshad and welcome to my channel. In this vlog Me and my 3 friends are travelling to Valparai , and the place we would be stayed is Cheruvathoor Cottage ,Resort and Homestay.
Valparai.( Upper Sholayar Dam).
This place is located right next to the Sholayar Dam in the middle of the Jungle. To enjoy a raw experience of nature, do visit this place . It disconnects you from the outer world for a while. Reaching this place is the most adventurous thing one can get ,we have to do 1 kilometer proper off-road drive where we get a chance to show our off-road skills. Animals do enter the resort premises (Elephant, Indian Gaur , Deer , Sambar Deer etc).
A lot of Dams nearby to see and Athirapally waterfall is 52kms from this place, and it takes you through the Sholayar Forest Reserve
And since it's a Forest reserve and an elephant corridor the Timings to reach this place is 6am to 6pm. ( 4pm for 2 wheelers)
I personally liked this place and suggest you to visit here to have a remembering experience.
we started at 3.30am and reached at 11.15 pm , it took us 20 hours as we had some bike repair work in Coimbatore and 5 hours were wasted. the total distance was 500 kms. it was a crazy experience till we reached there.
