i’m a dyi fair weather wood worker. so i put the miter saw on a ridgid rolling miter stand. very mobile and cans store in the upright position. since i doo all wood working outside , sawdust is not a concern . i did the same for my table saw mounted on a powertec stand. i use my leaf blower to clear off all the saw dust. both the harbor fright miter and table saw are perfect for the home owner that does wood projects or repairs around the house.

I looked at this saw. I’m sure it’s a good product but the slide mechanism on it and others is a non-starter. Takes way too much room. Bought a Metabo HPT because of prior experience and the slide mechanism design. But the saw was defective and it was returned. I now have a Bosch with their glide system.

Furniture making grade cuts or just deck building grade? Would you attempt expensive crown molding cuts with it?

Tire Slime is good for about 12 months of life in the tire. It destroys the paint inside the rim, and can also attack the metal. That bead leak MAY have been because the rim sealing surface was not cleaned BEFORE installing the tire. Wire brush, sandpaper, etc. will assure the bead seats without leaks. No Slime needed.

As mentioned by dltcat, at the 9:45 mark, your wood was not all the way against your stop block, that is why some cuts are off. Nothing to do with the saw at all.

the cut you made at the 9:45 minute mark was not up against the stop. it stopped against the table just before the block.

I just changed a tire out that I put some of that green tire slime in. It was clear and nowhere to be found. I put about half a bottle in the tire even. I imagine it just squirted out the hole in the tire. But it did not have all the black molasses goo like yours did. I did the rear tire with just a crowbar and tire spoons. I've tried doing the little front castors before, I usually end up buying an entire whell/tire combo or stuff a tube in it! My mower shop wanted $22 to mount. My local harbor freight wanted $60 for the tool, so I spent 90 minutes battling the tire and wheel.

I have a huge suggestion for you on making all this tire changing easier! After you mount tire on removal stand, right before you start removing tire, heat up tire temperature with a heat gun or hairdryer. Heat tire until you can't hardly touch it. Then remove tire from wheel!

We had vines growing on our house util they were destroying the soffit and eaves, we removed as much as we could and had to spray the rest as it was growing again , we sprayed it about 10 times and it took 2 years to completely get rid of it. Never again!

Have ever heard that where ever there are ball bearing (like the wheel bearings), it is preferable to "slide" the axle (especially the front wheel) without subjecting the bearings to any form of impact? Impact is the main cause of bearing failure...

Fyi to the community. Acetone will strip the lacquer off that Showa uses as a protectant. Much easier than sanding it off. Beware that unless one clearcoats the polished aluminum the lowers will require constant maintenance less the aluminum will oxidize again.
