Valour & Fortitude: Different mission style.
An attempt to see if Conquest style accumulative scoring works with Valour rules.
(Note: all the British cavalry regardless of appearance are played with the British rules and points cost.)
And it has come to my attention that the regiment I call Cuirassier I have actually painted as Carabinier....specifically the 1st regiment
Everyone's getting rebased and tidied up soon anyway...

A little rough to edit but thankfully the next vid is already shot and is much cleaner! This was the last of the learning to play games and the next one is definitely tighter with a lot less issues.
Conquest First Blood:100K vs Nord's

Over the Christmas break, I was visited by my mate with his 100k and City State forces. Whilst having a beer and chips game I tried to film it ... Young Frankie who'd never seen models let alone a tabletop game set up the battlefield. My Farther who has never even blinked at a conquest rule book piloted the 100 Kingdoms in this first game.

Ok After one monitor exploding and the webcam fizzling out its done. First attempt at 2.0 more of a relearning game, the Highlanders were run as Guard and proved to be really strong. Also, the number of ones rolled really sped up this game.

Don't you feel that Cavalry is a little bit OP compared to infantry? Personally I adopted the possibility to form an emergency square
We had a chat about it, the cavalry often feels oppressive, but the light cavalry tends to struggle in actual combat (vs infantry) compared to the heavy cav. So, we find it kind of plays out fine and "feels" historically accurate. though I find whoever wins the cavalry duel wins the battle in our games. About to add more French Carabineers, cannons and Kingdom of Naples line infantry for a campaign so when we play that out, we will have a few more games to see if our thoughts change.

Hi there, Finally another battle report of V&F, which I love very much as game. Do you have used the old rule or the new ones as playtest? I'm running in painting just to make a valid video for my channel with painted miniatures and not an army of withe gost...
This was an old game with older rules. They work better with the people i play with, who really enjoy the random card mechanic. I'll be playing a lot more thru to the end of the year as just moved house and only have my Napoleonic's and classical models unpacked.
