Ultra conservative, very religious, and hyper judgmental people. Gone are the quaint farmers and in their place are the Hond-roids from the factory. It is very much a "keeping up the Jones's" town. They did just have their first ever Gay Pride Festival last year...so there is hope.
I was there @ pride it was very refreshing. You are spot on about marysville. I moved away about 20 years ago but I still live close. I try not to visit.
@@lanenolastname6332 Yes! Pride was extremely refreshing. I believe that Marysville is still trying to find itself. I would love for it to become like Yellow Springs...but that is asking for a lot lol!
I miss my home. I moved to Marysville when I was 10 in 2004 and now I'm 27 stationed in GA. I will return one day with my wife and kids! Great place to to live and raise a family.
I can reach out by email, but I work for the Auditor's office in Union County and we've actually been looking for good footage of Marysville to use on the homepage of our website when we get it upgraded. Would it be alright if we used this video? The quality is top-notch!

The web editor we work with was actually supposed to help us upgrade our site at the end of 2021 but we've still been waiting on them to get things finished. Nice video, the park could look like the video but unfortunately full time campers have trashed the place up. Nothing ruins a nice campground faster than a bunch of full timers with junk everywhere. The park has plenty of rules that aren’t being enforced, it’s a real shame to see this park go downhill .
