The meaning of the lyrics (what I understood): the main character is leaving his or her fiancé(e) and it was their last dance together. You can see colorful lights everywhere and as people leave the dance floor, you and your fiancé(e) have your last dance wondering: when are you going to reunite?

This song by Chappell Roan makes me feel like a cool drama queen! BTW, I changed the verse "It's a sexually explicit kind of love affair" to "It's a random complicated kind of love affair. Also, it feels like a musical: that is the vibe that I am trying to give. And I might not be the best vocalist, but I am trying hard! Plus this song is so interesting: I got to try it!

This song expresses how I feel about Mondays. Rainy days AND Mondays, put together, is a mighty pain. Sometimes I do feel like a frowning clown, but it is always nice to know that somebody loves me. For me, that is the essence of this song
