The mission of The New York Stem Cell Foundation is to accelerate cures for the major diseases of our time through stem cell research, supporting only the most promising research and technologies, in our own laboratories and in partnership with leading institutions around the world.
In addition to conducting innovative stem cell research in our own safe haven laboratories, NYSCF also supports and convenes global stem cell thought leaders and the broader stem cell community - all with the focus on getting to patients. Since our founding in 2005, NYSCF has been able to achieve outsized results in a relatively short period of time thanks to private philanthropy.
The NYSCF Research Institute, an independent laboratory, is a non-profit accelerator that serves to bridge the ongoing gap between research institutions and pharmaceutical and biotech companies by reducing the cost, time, and risk that historically inhibit the development of new treatments and cures.

How are stem cells changing our understanding of PTSD? Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric disorder that may occur after experiencing a traumatic event, but only for a minority of people. Understanding why certain individuals are susceptible to PTSD has been a challenge, as scientists lacked the means to capture how the neurons of prone individuals are affected by stress. A...

Thanks for your mature & confident explanation; I'm long an esoteric believer. My wife of 81 years old died on 30 of November & I'm shattered. I thought I was her Twin Flame Partner, but I now think I"m mistaken; needless to say divisional & jealously is wreaking havoc with my mind. Is there any rational explanation that you could give drowning man to hold onto a straw?
I have retinal branch occlusion have had several steroid injections not much improvement. I would volunteer!

Excellent
Great job very informative and peer to peer response is very connected to the nature of questions asked on the topic of biological studies.
Will insurance cover this medicine
I have one eye affected by AMD. My localheath service offers me treatment, an injection of something that is supposed to slow down the progression of the disease. Would I be better taking up this offer or would I be better off waiting for the stem cell treatment to mature and be available here, in Europe? In other words is the injection of stuff to slow down the progress of the disease likely to make the stem cell therapy impossible?
I am interested in the heart also.

If creating awareness is the aim of the video, welcome to India to see that already 6 different diseases are treated with Allogeneic bone marrow derived stemcells off the shelf as government FDA approved indications.
I put three comments and request but nobody replied.
Genetic Engineering could make guys who look naturally feminine (for example men with aromatase excess syndrome produce female levels of estrogen) who have gynecomastia, high pitched voices, and feminine curves but brain manipulation would be needed to make them accept the way they look and still identify as males without having gender dysphoria like crossdressers already do. I believe that gendered clothing will no longer exist so the word crossdresser might not even make sense anymore in this future.
No stem Cells from aborted fetuses
best of best
Please send me your Emailid, so i can send details of my sisters both have AMD i am from india, is this treatment available in india?
