That’s a great sled 👍 My brother put over 10,000 miles on one. I own two iq sleds, an 08 Dragon and an 06 Fusion 700. Being an 06, it’s going to steer a little heavy. The adjustable steering column doesn’t help if the previous owner wasn’t big on maintenance. There’s a universal joint on the steering shaft, keep it lubricated! If it still seems to steer heavy, spindles off of a newer iq chassis sled, preferably 08-10, will make a world of difference. Better skis is also an option. Those different rider positions are nice depending on your riding style. If you want to ride aggressively put the bars forwards and it makes it easier to stand up and puts you in a better position to attack corners. If you want to sit back and cruise pull the bars back and relax like you’re on an older sled. It also helps on long days if you’re getting tired change it up and it can reduce fatigue. Last thing I’ll mention, clean your exhaust valves every season! If you replace the bellows don’t go cheap, and if the sled seems sluggish the valves are probably the first place to check. Also, use lock tight. I had to ride from Grand Marais to St. Ignace at low enough throttle that my valves wouldn’t open because I had two bolts come loose and one of those bolts actually worked itself completely out. Had to tighten the one and limp it back.
