Being completely Sober really helps thank you all so much for prayers. 5 months.. Also about introspecting our "behavior" to see what our motives are. And the weight and burden that comes with the yoke of bondage the world teaches and strongly emphasizes. Walk by Faith and not sight.. So Ch. 28 the witch of Endor when Saul seeks medium or "familiar spirit" to summon the spirit of the prophet Samuel because The LORD answered him not by dream, urim, or prophet. So the medium did not actually summon the spirit of Samuel or did she? 28:14 says Saul perceived it to be Samuel, and a demon can not know the future? But could have projected the outcome and fate of Saul and his sons. But the spirit told Saul that he and his sons would be with him in paradise side of Sheol? I do not believe any man has the Holy Spirit" and I do not understand what he meant? It has been been on my heart to learn what he means .. Amen Pastor Lance!We covered a lot of ground in GODS WORD during this message. Not trying to compare but the Truth does stand out and clarity of the Gospel does cause separation from false religious teachings..Many religious churches I attended in the distant past usually had maybe 4 verses used out of context and most of the time I felt confused and condemned. After hearing the Gospel of Grace and trusting JESUS CHRIST as Savior and receiving the Holy Ghost. Now it is so awesome to be fed Spiritual food and be nourished up by The WORD of GOD. We are truly blessed Grace Gospel Church..❤ Good to learn Jacobs ladder leads to CHRIST and JESUS is the missing link... Amen

I love this series Pastor "Men and Women of the Bible" It is nice to be reminded about Jacob and Rachel and Leea and how the !2 tribes of Israel came to be. And Revelation 5 speaking of the 7 seals which can only be opened by the true King of Kings and LORD of LORDS Conquering LION from the Tribe of JUDAH who is also The LAMB of GOD that taketh away the sins of the world. Alpha and thee Omega, Begining and thee End JESUS CHRIST.❤ Brothers and sisters of Grace Gospel Church we have much to look forward to as children of The MOST HIGH GOD.. This is truly an amazing time to be alive even though I think all time will become irrelevant now and at Glorification as we have been given the gift of Eternal life with JESUS in Heaven by believing on Him. IF CHRIST has died for my sins then it is not possible to go to hell "Sheol" (place of torment) when flesh perishes. Because CHRIST died for our sins.. What a gift becoming Eternal means that right now we are no longer bound by the predicament of time and essentially the flesh because at Glorification we will be made like HiM.. Please note that Jesus did not die on a cross but rather a upright stake or pole. The instrument that Jesus died on was just that, a torture instrument, and all the evidence points to the fact that Jesus did not doe on a cross but rather a "upright pole of stake" ! An important reason is that Jesus Christ did not die on a cross. The Greek word generally translated “cross” is stau·ros′. It basically means “an upright pale or stake.” The Companion Bible points out: “[Stau·ros′] never means two pieces of timber placed across one another at any angle . . . There is nothing in the Greek of the [New Testament] even to imply two pieces of timber.” In several texts, Bible writers use another word for the instrument of Jesus’ death. It is the Greek word xy′lon. (Acts 5:30; 10:39; 13:29; Galatians 3:13; 1 Peter 2:24) This word simply means “timber” or “a stick, club, or tree.” The most convincing proof of all, however, comes from God’s Word. The apostle Paul says: “Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us, because it is written: ‘Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake [“a tree,” King James Version].’” (Galatians 3:13) Here Paul quotes Deuteronomy 21:22, 23, which clearly refers to a stake, not a cross. Since such a means of execution made the person “a curse,” it would not be proper for Christians to decorate their homes with images of Christ impaled.

Thanks Pastor Lance for sharing your knowledge of Christ.. i am reminded that i have much to learn about growing in grace and knowledge of Christ.. Soot face has decieved i into destroying myself and keeping myself in bondage distracted and feeling ashamed and seemingly hopeless.. i appreciate your insight on how to change behavior by changing the way i think.. Alot of the struggle comes from a plagued thinking i call the "F" --- its and it causes i to give up in my own mind... It has even gotten to a point where i start to think maybe Jesus is not coming for us. But his Spirit is still with i .. Why can i not utilize the Holy Spirit to correct i behavior and live free from the presence of sin that effects so many things instead i choose to grieve the Spirit and i hate myself for doing so.. It is not even about me. Life is about other people and planting seeds that bear fruit.. My personal request to God is to be free from this bondage of self and to abide IN HIM and better do thy will .. Life lessons to learn.. Their is an experience i had that i want to share with you sometime cause it happend a minute or two after i paused your sermon last Christmas morning.. Great message of Hope! Thanks for explaining the difference between the "Day of Christ" and the 'Day of the LORD". It would be nice to learn Hebrew. I guess Hebrew will be the dialect used to communicate during kingdom Reign. It is so reassuring to see God keeping his promise to Israel. Life has been tough lately. The Spirit wants to quicken but old man keeps getting in the way.. It is always a blessing to hear you preach the WORD on Sunday mornings. I love you Pastor Lance. ❤️
