Invest in a top-tier winter jacket. For real - spend $1000+ on something that you could wear on an expedition. I did it last year and it was like a light switch for my mood toward winter - I'm toasty AF now even down to -30 lol ie: Arcteryx "LIATRIS DOWN PARKA WOMEN'S" - expensive but you will have it for 10-15 years probably and will increase the quality of your life 10x Also, wearing a base layer (long johns) even around the house. Merino wool or a synthetic blend. Wearing cotton against your skin makes you colder in winter when you are outside as the moisture from your skin does not not wick away like it does with merino wool or synthetic. There is a science to this for real LOL I used to not like winter until I learned this and now I don't mind it at all - borderline enjoy it!

Yes the winter seems long because we started having snow before Halloween. I was supposed to go to Costco on the weekend and now it’s put off till Friday because I just didn’t have the vibe. You’re not alone. We had a good winter last year when you were in the DR.
