Things not to burn in your fireplace: - NEVER burn any plastic, rubber or anything that has been painted. This can produce all sorts of toxic fumes. - NEVER burn any fabric or textile material in your fireplace. This can produce a lot of smoke and increase creosote deposits in the chimney, causing a risk of chimney fires. Furthermore, some synthetic materials, such as nylon and polyester, can create toxic fumes if burnt. - NEVER burn charcoal in your fireplace. Charcoal is for outdoor use only (i.e. barbecues). Burning charcoal can produce carbon monoxide, which can be extremely dangerous if it builds up in a confined space. - Don't burn real Christmas trees. The wood hasn't been properly seasoned, and so burning a Christmas tree can cause creosote deposits in your chimney, creating a fire hazard. - Make sure your wood is dry. Wet wood burns less efficiently, increasing the risk of creosote deposits.

lint filtering is still BAD on dryers, even a heat pump type we run; I found adding fish tank filter material like cotton wool which s water proof and able to catch fibers, all fibers that worked past the standard machine filters; cheap easy to clean with vacuum or just replace (throw away)

I think about killing myself all the time because I dont like the way I'm treated.

All the dryers that caught on fire in this video were made by General Electric. They are poorly made. The coil heaters on the back of the drum builds up lint around them that can easily ignite. Stay away from GE and Frigidaire Dryers.

Why lights on a real Christmas tree can overheated and caused a fire

THE KEEN GUY - ME. I had cleaned out some lint using a vaccum, worrying about the next time I turn the dryer on, and the dryer becomes a fire trap and the house gets destroyed almost like what a chimney fire can do to a house. Here is the pathophysiology of a dryer fire. 1. Lint particles get airborne or trapped in the dryer vent. 2. If there is a big block or clog by the lint, the pilot flame can cause the lint to heat up to temperatures to the expected flash point where they can combust or smolder. 3. Keep that up - if that block or clog is not cleaned out as the dryer's gas flame continues to heat up whatever is in the buildup in the dryer vent flue, the flash point temperature that is already reached can ignite the whole lint batch and POOF - YOU GET A FIRE.
