it is interesting that a product made in 1982 has a bar code. We barely had computers in those days, but apparently bar code readers existed. That's a nice bag.
It's a contract date not a manufacturing date. Depending on the length of the contract it could have been made years after 1982 but not before it.

Well on of the c-ration menus included spaghetti and meatballs. Spaghetti-Os was the closest thing in a can I could find at Walmart.
