I definitely agree that the pacing of Tender Beasts is much quicker! makes it easier to go through quickly! Delicious Monsters is a much quieter book in my opinion, so the slower read makes sense to me! I also wish we had more Brittany!! I was really loving her chapters, but you're right her section is definitely not horror haha Let me know which book you like better when you finish Delicious Monsters! im curious haha

Art in general. I used to love to draw as well but never really developed skill. Then, as an adult, I just kept fantasizing about being at my goal without putting in the work to get there. Now, I want to and will learn everything. All the styles. Though I do love anime and cartoons, I'm thinking I'll start by trying to draw my favorite characters. We have similar goals of pairing our art with our writing. My most invested story is meant to be a graphic novel. I will ask you next time I'm able to catch a stream how your art journey is going!
