This is so wrong with any card slot after 2004 .... they are now magnetic and if you don't have the correct strength magnet your screwed

You are allowed to bring on board a bottle of wine or spirit per person in a cabin. Or you can bring beer/cider you’d need to check t(e limits as I can’t remember off t top of my head. Some excursions sell out and you are best booking through P&O , eg Rib Boat Trips , but Olden Sky Lift, Troll Cars adm t( Glacier etc are half price when booked independently

I really enjoyed this 😊 My daughter and I were on Iona fjord cruise last week, it was a lovely experience, the crew were fantastic, and really well organised. I do wish we’d taken a whole suitcase full of soft drinks though, because anything other than water is a real price gouge. The choice of entertainment was both overwhelming and underwhelming, too much on offer, and nothing to my taste. I would really have liked to see options geared to the specific area we were visiting on offer…. And on the menus too, and for the love of god Costa get off the ship, or offer proper training, the coffee was the worst I’ve ever had.

Holy crap hotels are requiring the room key to activate the electricity. I have stayed in hotels that have a master switch by the door that turns everything off and that is confusing enough. The first time I almost called the front desk after pressing all the light switches because I couldn't get anything to turn on. This would be a nightmare. I hope they explain everything well at the front desk. What if you want to leave your phone charging and a speaker playing videos so that it seems like your room is occupied? That is insanity. Good tip though. I hope I never stay in a place that does this.

We have cruised with P and O many times, our last one being this month (July). On every cruise we were each allowed to take one litre of alcohol on embarkation plus mixers etc. Something to bear in mind if you like to have a drink in your cabin. Your cabin steward will be happy to provide you with ice too!

Don’t bother food is average to poor but it’s better than an air sandwich, Arvia overall very underwhelming Banks needs to daub over P&O logo to read Butlins, shite ship, shite experience. I spanked£5500 for two weeks of rubbish.

Fully agree. Been to Norway many times. Norway is great in that the ship docks right at the placde where you can just walk off into a beautiful place. No need to book tours. Just got back from Iona Norway cruise. Only one to book was the trip to Mount Dalsniber. One to do but risky. We had fantastic weatgher with great views but you might get just 20 yard visibility with low cloud. Wish we had got to Flam instead of Hargesund; much nicer place.

I've just come off a week on the Iona. Within 24 hours of boarding, all shows, all speciality restaurants and all afternoon teas were fully booked. This is information for anyone planning a cruise on the ship. I have never experienced this before. I felt duped

Sorry to say it`s not 1/2 litre. But its 1 litre per Guests this is from P&O Alcohol policy ( Wine Champagne, beer, spirit, or liqueur on board ) The Cabin is Fantastic
