Ryron and Rener Gracie Flow Rolling in Florida
I joined the Gracies for their annual immersion camp in Destin, Florida (which was amazing!), and the Gracie Brothers held an afternoon open mat session so we could get some rolling in. After rolling with a bunch of the students, Ryron and Rener gave a great talk on sparring philosophy and not being too "attached" to victory or defeat, but rather to take the most from each moment. Afterwards, they rolled with each other so we could see what they meant, it was beautiful.
(sorry about the shaky camera:)

Hey. What is the name of the move Rener Gracie used (he rolled on his back keeping his feet on Ryron Gracie). And can you please do a tutorial on that? Thanks.

So? Nobody is forced to pay. This is how they make their living, this is how they can keep dedicating their full time to BJJ and share their knowledge with us.

Sure it is different eras, but that is the beauty of sports, isn't it? The ability to compare fighting styles and fighters from different eras. That's what drives interest and creates the mystique in the sport. That is why Boxing fans fantasize about "Ali vs Tyson", and Basketball fans fantasize about "Kobe vs Jordan". Who would win, whose style benefits one guy vs the other, how would it go if they faced each other? Those are some of the things sports fans fantasize about so to speak.

Different eras, they are equal for what they have brought to Jiu Jitsu.

Renner and Ryron are a mentor/trainers generation not trained to fight in the ring but I`d love to see Rickson Gracie piss in Garcia`s ass

You can watch Andre Galvao do it tomorrow (Ryron) Or atleast try his best. I'm kinda excited to see how his laid back chill rolling style will compare to a beast going at him.

These Gracie Brothers are cool. I would love to see Marcelo Garcia absolutely destroy them though. I mean no disrespect to them or anybody else who likes them.
