Hi, it's been a long time! I miss the Civ days, loading up a Galley with Legions, destined to obliterate cities with libraries! I don't have my Xbox 360 anymore, that's when I moved to play Magic.

I would definitely recommend Legacy, I made the jump 2 years ago, and haven't looked back. I watched your most recent video vs Boros Energy, it was ridiculous, how is Taxes able to compete? Modern horizons sets complement the Legacy format and completely dominate Modern.

@@alistaircushnie5551 I wait for Pre-War to drop in price and then try to jump into the legacy. In modern if they ban Ring it becomes a completely different and very beautiful format IMO. Thanks for watching my video!

It was indeed! Looking back on it, it was probably me who unnecessarily extended it. At 48:53 where I forget to put a stop on the beginning of combat, then I double down on that mistake by not even attacking with the Stoneforge for 1 damage. Sounds trivial, but that 1 life was huge at the end of game 3! D&T wins are always on a knife edge!

Hi DG, I have not ventured into black yet, I dabbled with green with Melira the living cure. I always have a soft spot for mono white, even if it's not objectively the best. How have you been finding it in Modern? And are you ever tempted by Legacy?

@@alistaircushnie5551 My build with the Bowmasters but keeping the LD plan is probably the best. Bowmaster is too strong not to be played, I'm also a Mono W fun but Thalia is really unplayable. I follow the legacy a bit but I've never approached it seriously, mainly because I don't feel like learning the format, but I know well that it's the format that every D&T player should play because we can play it much better. The last league of mine I went 4-1, the deck behaves well but every MU is difficult. No free win. I hate Cascade mechanics and Scam, the modern is full of this stuff and I'm not very happy

Hi, Archon of Emeria is one my favourite D&T cards. There are a couple of reasons it's not played in Legacy D&T, firstly it's not recruitable so you are unlikely to see it. Secondly, it's played in stompy decks which have fast mana in the form of Ancient tombs and Chrome Moxe, without these it is quite slow. I also include Ethersworn canonist which comes down at 2 and has a similar effect.

I used to try to force Orzhov control back when I played standard. When I moved to older formats it's also where I started, although on a budget I played mono white, that's where taxes started for me!
