Hurricane Milton Wrecked My Home... Here's the Tour
DONATE:
Bringing supplies & resources to affected areas: wingsofcompassion.com/donate/
Southwest Florida relief: www.redcross.org/donate/donation.html/
I wanted to take a moment to give you all a personal update and explain why I haven’t been posting my usual videos. It’s been a rough couple of weeks with back-to-back hurricanes, Helene and Milton, hitting us hard. 🌪️
I wanted to give you guys a little tour of the damage. My porch and shed are completely wrecked, and the house took on saltwater flooding. 🌊 Pretty much everything below four feet is ruined-appliances, furniture, flooring, you name it. We’ve started the rebuilding process, but it’s going to take some time. 🛠️ I know there are a lot of people out there who were hit just as hard or worse, especially in Manatee and Sarasota County here in Florida, and North Carolina. If you’re able, I’d really appreciate it if you could donate to organizations who may not have the insurance or resources to bounce back.
Thanks again for all your support, and I hope to be back making videos once things settle down a bit. ✌️

Chill Sunset Flight in Yak54 (with Music)
Переглядів 17728 днів тому
Join me for an unusually laid-back sunset flight in the Yak54. This footage was originally captured on a GoPro back in June 2022. While we're currently "on the ground" working on restoration projects, we thought it would be fun to dig into the archives and share this chill flight. I appreciate ya'll joining me for some casual airtime! #Yak54 #FloridaAviation #AvGeek #Pilot #PilotLife #SunsetFli...
Restoring This Classic Warbird Paint Scheme
Переглядів 3452 місяці тому
In today’s video, we’re diving into the restoration of our BAC Strikemaster Warbird’s original paint scheme. After getting this beauty home, we decided it was time to show some love to the exterior. While the original paint was decent, it wasn’t quite what I envisioned. So instead of a full repaint, my team and I opted for a multi-stage buffing process-high-speed compounding, polishing, and cer...
About Halfway Done! Piaggio P.180 Complete Rebuild
Переглядів 2,5 тис.2 місяці тому
Hey everyone! I’m beyond excited to announce that our Piaggio P.180 is back from its avionics upgrade with a shiny new Garmin panel. It’s a major leap from the old tech, and we're ready to dive into the next phase - revamping the interior! Starting Monday, we’ll begin installing a brand-new carpet, gorgeous seats, and sleek side panels. Right now, the inside might look a bit bare, but trust me,...

The gravity point is center for flyings. A jet wings on high golden meltings. One time only please.
Great video !!
is there a STC for an externally serviced toilet?
I really like that blue
I am not near Florida, but thank you for helping your people in Florida and our country as a whole. Stay safe
I really appreciate you saying that. Will do -
Stay safe Tony
Let me know if you like the music in these flight videos, or if you’d prefer to hear just the in-aircraft/engine audio. ✅🛑🎶 Thanks for flying with me!
I'm extremely jealous
So fare all I see is tape & Talking
Heard. We'll be rolling out work-in-progress shorts as soon as we got 'em.
STROKE
Again: so, zero flight footage? All talking??? Just be quiet and fly the plane. OMG.
Hi Mike, this was the second video we put up on UA-cam. Check out the channel, every Strikemaster video after this one has flight time (minus the paint restoration of course). I agree it much more fun to fly than chat, but UA-cam algorithm doesn't always agree...😂
Better get after it
Only 55,000 miles and its got a new motor?
Previous owner replaced the engine. Not 100% sure why they did that... The engine got separated from the car and I was unable to find it (unfortunately). I do have the original numbers-matching transmission however.
Fun to see that paint look like a Jaw Breaker candy 😂 Have fun Tony !
Tony, what an awesome job! Your bird looks brand new! Thanks for the video update. ✈️
Hey thanks Phil! ✈
Lookin good
The Editing is Amazing. I wonder who did it.
You're the man Alex 😎
Love the updates Tony. Have fun with the Piper upgrades.
Bro unlocked aviation porn!!! ❤❤❤
Thats a beautiful Turbo prop
Ooh shiny
This is sick.
Such a beautiful plane. ❤
Shines up like a new penny 😊
Great to meet you today great work going on over there
Hey! It was great talking to you yesterday as well. Thank you for your service, and I look forward to chatting with you again -
@@AirtimeTony you will for sure thank you
Congratulations! I hope that you and everyone so blessed fully appreciates their good fortune each and every day. 🙂
That is very kind of you to say. I do feel truly blessed indeed, and I hope the same for you as well.
Hello Tony and Jacquelyn Daum (AKA - Airtime With Tony & Test Flight Studios), This introduction to aviation video has touched the minds and imagination of so many people aspiring to become a pilot. The attached URL video link is a testament to your mentoring efforts. Congratulations on helping to get another person into the cockpit for their very 1st flight lesson. Tony, great great great! Can’t wait to see more. Looking forward to seeing you guys in October. I am still hanging up in Cape Cod.
We'll see you soon Phil!
Amazing jet
Do a barrel roll
Such a cool beginner plane will be cool to see it come along
I learned in a Cherokee 140, fixed gear, love those Hershey bar wings.
Love your passion for restoring older aircraft. A bit different from the older aerobatic / warbird aircraft restorations you typically do... but am sure it will turn out great!
Excellent video and great job on restoring your new bird.
Your videos are really making me miss the summer I spent working on a couple of JP's/Strikemasters. Lovely aircraft to work on, even with some of their quirks.
Great work. I think if you can offer a full avionics and mechanical upgrade package, you will get a lot of orders!
Nice Ford
Thanks!
Which digital engine monitor are you using?
Which digital engine monitor are you use?
It is the Garmin TXi EIS Dedicated Turboprop Engine Monitoring System. Thank you for your question!
Congrats guys! Well done! If I could ask 2 questions? I'm guessing you did some work on it? Did you do a maintenance flight before the move? Also, were the seats hot? I'm 90% sure they were not. LOL Again, great job!! --gary
Hey Gary! Good question - the seats are not hot. We did a lot of ground testing through Code 1 . We literally ran an entire tank of Jet Fuel through it on engine and hydraulic tests, and multiple gear swings. Thanks for asking -
Your videos look so professional, you deserve way more subs !
This channel has been a lot of fun for my daughter and I. We're aiming to make each video entry a little better than the last. Comments like this go a long way for us. Thanks much.
What will be the weight savings when the avionics are done?
Thanks for the question, let me check that number and get back to you on that... 👍
Thanks for your patience. The avionics took about 150 lbs out of the airplane. However, we put approximately 150 lbs back in the front to maintain the CG for the airplane. So, the actual weight savings ended up being negligible.
One of the best projects so far you guys keep on watching and make sure to like and subscribe
Thank you! We are getting ready to re-upholster the seat, and put new carpet in. We will film it, and make sure to put that up too. We're also starting restoration on a 1970 Corvette Convertible. So that should be pretty fun. 👍
Love detailing videos
how do you land this beast, can you look forward ?
Great question. The short answer is no, you cannot see forward from the rear seat. The plane is landed 3-point, due to the large propeller that would make wheel landings dangerous and unnecessary. I fly a military style approach whenever possible, which means I am in a constant radius turn until flair. This allows me to see the runway clearly, until I set up for the flair. Then, I look side-to-side between the wing and the tail to keep the airplane centered until she settles in and lands. It's very similar to how you would land a WWII aircraft like a T6 or a Corsair. 👍
Amazing flying!!!
Thanks, it's lots of fun. I plan on posting some more advanced aerobatic videos soon.
Gettin after it!
How do you like the support offered by the manufacture?
Honestly, to me, what is more important right now is regional support. This is a fantastic airplane, but it requires being plugged into a network of people who can sources the parts and do the maintenance. If you've got that much, you have it made. I don't have much interaction with corporate, as I focus on Pre-Evo birds... Piaggio is still doing some reorganizing right now, and I hope to see them come out the other side as a much stronger company. This is an amazing aircraft that deserves great support. 👍 I manage several of these birds, and work on several more (as you can see). The key is to stay ahead of project needs. Great question my friend -
That is going to be a pretty nice toy, but always fly smart and don’t hesitate to scrub a flight if there are any issues. I’ll bet you had fun dropping in to some of the lesser known airports, that was always fun when flying something not commonly seen in the pattern!👍🏼👍🏼
It is a LOT of fun... and I could not agree with you more! Flew from Florida to Rockford, IL.... and back to Florida on airlines x5 times due to scrubs 😂😆 Didn't even add up what that cost me, cause you can't put a price on safety. Glad to have you here in the channel.
Very cool
LOVED this video. Great sound track also!
Thank you! My daughter edits these for me, and she really appreciates it.
