I just meant that you need to know where the guidelines are to reference if you have questions when you're coding something. You don't have to memorize every rule/guideline.

hi thank you for posting, what do you mean by not having to memorize? do you go to the beginning of the book before coding each diagnosis/procedure?

Hey I have my exam scheduled on Dec 9th 2023, but I have 2022 year version of ICD and CPT books can I carry them for my exam with pencil written added codes and deleted codes of current year version in the books!!!
