I know this is two years old, but those three bolts that hold the side engine mount are 28LBS. Before you tighten up the 17mm long bolt to spec you have to drop the engine all the way on the chassis so now the car is sitting how it should, then go back in tighten the 17mm long bolt to 40LBS. Trust me I did this a few years back without doing it by spec, and now my side engine mount is getting sheared. Metal shavings all below the mount. This happened after 3 years of use.

I stripped the bolt for the accessory belt one🗿

Excellent...the only thing I would add to this is to use anti-seize anytime you are putting bolts back in. Especially steel bolts to aluminum threads. 👍

Yo I feel the engine hoist moving struggle. I was offered a free f23 so I immediately went to go grab it from the car. Got to the place and start taking everything apart. I was ready to take the motor out at around 3pm and I started at like 10am. I set the hoist up and I gotta be outta this place by 5 at the latest to get my son from daycare. I get the engine hoist in position, I lift the motor out. I wasn’t thinking but the whole area was mulch…. It was also raining so you can gues what’s happened, the wheels sank. I weight like 120 so by my self I’m lifting this thing out of the ground sliding random pieces of plywood under the wheels. Ended up finishing at 5 but yeah man I always bring plywood now. Advice if your by your self

Just curious since its been years since this was uploaded, how well did they hold up over time? Any flickering issues where you needed to get the canbus decoder/resistor harness or did everything work plug and play bulb only for a while?

Awesome video bro came in clutch me only took me about 4 hours but that was more cause didnt have many tools so all the awkward angles to get the bolts out was annoying plus had one belt wrong so had to go exchange it 😂😂 but because of you saved my ass $200+ to have both belts changed at mechanics. But was wondering if you could tell me why while I was driving after about 15 minutes it started to squeal again for like 30 seconds before stopping again and when I did a U turn felt like it jumped or pulled I dont really know how else to explain it?

How do you know how much tension to put in the belts?

I would say put the jack in place *first* for support. Then loosen the bolts and jack up a bit if you need to make sure you are able to thread in all bolt holes. That sounds like the procedure in the video.

FYI: The exact worn out/broken engine mount piece shown at the beginning of the video will cause your engine make a very loud thunking noise when you start your engine. When you move your car slowly or stop, you will experience a vibrational noise. And when you accelerate your car, there is no noise! Took me some time to diagnose the problem with my 2001 Honda Accord with 187K miles (but runs like a Lexus), as wear and tear everywhere!

did it matter that the hole on the new motor mount is larger than the old one? Because there is a lot of play on my front motor mount from the bolt that goes thru the bracket and the mount.... @josebangz1874

Hi. Can the 419K4 be used? It fits but I was to get enough slack using the adjustment bolt before it rides over the pulley.

Did you ever have any problems with these? How did you find the solid top mounts and bearings? Noisy or anything ?

lights look really nice.. question, why not hook up the lights to the headlight wires instead? would it be too much voltage?
