What I want to say but know will I will never see - the full movie of 'Wet Side Story' - the original without Mack and Brady the full movie of 'Lela Queen of the Beach' - which I keep imagining as a 90s remake or a 'based on/inspired by the 60s cult classic/the movie that defined a generation', I want to know what they changed and what they kept the movie about the robot that became a vampire that became a high school teacher than became a salsa teacher - I want to see if they'd bother to give a reason behind everything that happens or if they'd deliberately go for a 'make as little sense as possible' storyline

This makes me think of two things in the sequel... 1. The girl bikers and surfers helped out the boys here in this movie to stop the weather machine, but in the sequel in which we see footage of Wet Side Story without Mack and Brady interfering, it reveals that only the boy surfers and bikers go to stop the machine while all of the girls stay at Big Mamma's. I don't get why they did that. This movie discussed how the girls could do anything boys can do. Lela even said that after they stopped the machine thanks to Mack's encouragement. But why leave the girls behind? I mean, Lela was the one that figured out in this scene how to stop the machine using her hair pin. How do the boys figure out how to stop the machine without Lela's help? 2. With Dr. Fusion finding out from Brady and Mack that they're in a movie and then he reveals it to Les Camembert, that means they keep rebuilding the weather machine and have to experience getting blown up over and over again😂 Just imagine if Dr. Fusion is like "Why do we even keep building this thing? We know we keep losing when those surfers and bikers come here." and Camembert probably replies "We may have lost before, but we will not lose again! This property will be mine and I will explode 100 more times if I have to to make sure that I will triumph!" And I wonder how the lighthouse rebuilds itself after each time it blows up. Does the movie's magic repair it, does someone come and fix it, or does Dr. Fusion do so?

The scene where Mack and Brady say Farwell to the people of the movie always had me in tears, especially when the surfers and bikers said their farewells and ran to the beach to encourage their friends. Am I the only one who tears up during that sequence?
