How far in advance did you have to book your ticket to get into Shibuya Sky? I tried just showing up one day and of course it was sold out. I've heard you sometimes need to book weeks in advance.

It's impressive how the whole of Japan commerce and culture is centered around the train system. The next improvement the rail system could make is continuous welded rail and round wheels. I notice this because I lived beside a commuter rail station years ago and can't stand the Clack-Bang sound of a train, all day long.

i love that walk. quite a few times i walked from asakusabashi to akihabara to have a smoke in the smoking area near the station. and on the way back try the food at the restaurant's under the railway line. one of my favourite places to stay in tokyo. can't wait to be back
