tell them about the altezza......that lexus is a proper vehicle quite rare in 254 but our landlocked neighbours got them in plenty.........nothing beats the joys of shredding tyres on a JDM........Shred tyres at 3AM and still drive to work the next morning...(try that on a GDM )

X-Trail (older model) has shown a whole generation dust........if the problematic gearbox(auto to be more specific) does not screw you up........the engine will just die on you in the middle of traffic..........the manual tranny one mated to a sr engine slaps "ta dog" and is actually a decent car...........The issue with Cvt is just servicing.Proper and timely service will save you that issue.
I agree proper and timely service are key when it comes to these new gen Cars mostly CVTs. Manuals might be friendlier but Automatics need timely servicing to prevent technical issues.
It’s not nice when it’s a bright white light instead like they have in AUS so you get blinded just by being behind the POS
