Village Well installed by Fence Company!
The dedication was a very special celebration in the village of Machapoor, India. We estimate around 75 families will use this well daily. We partnered with Pastor Daniel to put the well in this village. The plaque is inscribed with the Bible verse John 4:14, Which reads: But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsting again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Go to this Website to Donate and become a part of this Awesome opportunity. I'm not this lucky all of my posts are cemented in the ground. There is no inner sleeve

    Ummmm……. what happens when your posts are cemented into the ground directly?

    Is it possible to replace just one rod in the section ?

    • @RSFenceCompanyDillsburg
      @RSFenceCompanyDillsburg 11 днів тому

      If it's a fence style like this one in the video - yes! It is very easy to replace, however if you have a top rail and pickets don't go through the top rail then it would be more of a challenge to replace just the one picket and you would be best to follow the approach in the video by removing the panel and then the top rail to replace your damaged picket.

    Yeah but in the open position the posts didn’t look like they were lined up.

    Great video. So the cutoff 2x2 aluminum post becomes the below ground sleeve , then you insert an H post into that and finally the remainder of the cutoff post over the H post or insert you are using? What are the specs of the H post/insert and where is it available?

  • @LindainNC
    @LindainNC 2 місяці тому

    I haven't tried this yet but did call the company. You need to cut off your existing post at the ground, take panel off, put insert down in the existing hole from where you cut it off, then slip the post back over the insert. The insert is 1 3/4" and the post is hollow" so it should work and sounds super simple.

    How are screws attaached to just plastic?

  • @boypreachr
    @boypreachr 8 місяців тому

    Traditionally set aluminum fences this would not work. The post is set about 2' in the ground with concrete. In this scenario you have an inner post that the aluminum post is sleeved over with. We install our aluminum fences in a similar manner, but to have people thinking that repairing a traditionally set aluminum fence is this easy is misleading. I am curious as to what the inner post is that you are using as well as if that inner post was set in concrete as there was obviously zero adhesion if it was, unless there is an additional sleeve set below grade that allows that post to be so easily removed and reset. Whatever your system, this is great for those who want a removable section to bring in material or trailers periodically.

      Yea that is kind of a tough one to answer and I think we are working on some better video content to help clear it up little bit. This video was literally taken with a phone and not very professional & it was more or less quickly created to help out some of our local folks. Basically the standard 2" posts is hollow with holes punched or routed into it for the fence panels to insert. So we use an H-Channel Aluminum insert so that you can still re-attach panels with insertion the same way you would do with a traditional installation approach. The posts are concreted in the ground at the approximately 2' depth like you had said. Then he just goes up and cuts the post off at ground level or slightly below, removes the posts and slides the H-CHANNEL INSERT into the hollow sleeve in the ground. The H-channel used in this one is around 6' long or so with 2' in the ground and another 4' up inside the 2" posts. Hopefully that helps make little more sense to it.

    What is holding the post in the ground? I notice when you took the black cover off their was another piece what holds that in the ground. We have a black fence now that was with the house we just bought we would like to expand it out and use what we have for one side .

    • @RSFenceCompanyDillsburg
      @RSFenceCompanyDillsburg 2 роки тому

      The post is held in the ground by Concrete mix. Typically around 40lb-50lb bag of concrete per hole

      @@Rayofficial13565 Check both sides of your fence for the screws. You need to cut off your post, drop the metal insert down in the hollow post then slip the post back over top.

    Looks good guys... but I'm calling you out on 45 - 55MPH wind gusts, that fence would've been waving like a sail during assembly and after. I've seen that exact system using 1- 7/8 schd 40 pipe bend ther pipe at grade AND crack .150 wall posts at the upper pro lock cam location due to the wind beating on the fence. Pics and videos to prove... sorry In protected areas and tight access locations I've occasionally installed the same system but upgraded to 2-3/8 dia schd 40 pipe , 6 ft wide sections, and haven't had too many problems other than frost wanting to heave the occasional Vinyl sleeve up on the steel post(s)
