For those who come back here to watch Ghost Game out of a little nostalgia, disappointingly watch the anime because of the great wasted potential or want to see GulusGamamon (because honestly he was the only thing that made us watch the series because he was the most interesting or charismatic character [That is easy becuse Jellymon was his only competition). I have news for you. I recently found a fanfic on Eo3 called: *Digimon Ghost Game Redux* which is a rewrite that takes certain elements from the original series, combining it with new elements such as groups of hierarchies, backstories of the protagonists and a bit more stuff. that creates a story and coherent plot that shows the importance of each chapter until its conclusion

Digimon Tamers and Frontier had biggest impact on me. Season 1-2 are great don't get me wrong

Apparently there is no equivalent in English to the name, but Omegamon's final form in the movies is named Kaishakunin mode. Kaishakunins were the aides responsible for beheading (kaishaku) a worthy samurai or warlord during seppuku to avoid prolonged suffering during the ritual. It was a ritual reserved solely for who was still honorable and fell in battle, and was made to maintain the suffering to a minimum. Samurais that did crimes or that tainted their clans' honor were tasked with a seppuku without ritual beheading, as the suffering would be in exchange for the lost honor. Here is explained why this form has a katana as a sword, is pure white, and is depicted as more angelic and solemn than godly and imposing like before.

This one was better than Appli Monster and 2020 for sure I watched it recently, however, despite being episodic it had a main plot, and it fells rushed at the end, we got like 15 caps without clues all to have tons of stuff thrown at us right 4 or 5 caps before the series end, if it was better distributed then this series would have been really good

The saddest, most symbolic part : when they first are asked what will they do tomorrow, they reply vaguely, signifying the unlimited growth possibilities of kids. But an adult must know what there is for tomorrow. And when they both decide what they will do, showing their adulthood... their partners disappear.

GulusGammamon and Regulusmon are more intimidating than most dark evolutions just for the sheer fact they can talk coherently. The common "dark form" archetype for a lot of anime is a destructive form with little to no sentence most of the time, but this form is not only dark, powerful, and destructive, but also intelligent enough to recognize its own viciousness

Honestly not my favorite season, but that’s mostly due to how they handled DigiXros. I love the concept, but tossing out the concept of levels kind of made it feel too powerful. Not to mention the ones that weren’t from the anime just…so many just felt illogical. Stuff like using one of the sovereigns along with two other powerful Digimon to make Groundramon. If it wasn’t from the anime or manga, then they just threw stuff together at random to the point where it actually gets frustrating to think about. The concept is fantastic. The story and characters are great. I just wish that they put some more thought into DigiXros for other stuff. It says something when a good chunk of the ones from the DS games are just normal Digivolutions in other media for the base Digimon and were basically forced to follow the formula instead of doing something more creative with it. They could’ve made a ton of fun new ones for the games and Xros Loader toy, but they just slapped stuff together as an after thought. Doesn’t help that there is little chance of them revisiting the mechanic and applying new stuff to it. Well…there was that one small group of Yellow cards in the current card game, but they feel more like pack filler than them actually taking the concept seriously. Know what? Even if it is only via the card game/Liberator, I’d love for them to make some new DigiXrosses. Let them clearly be composed of certain Digimon that get included in their reference book entry, so on and so forth. Just bring DigiXros back and actually try! (And no, I don’t count that lazy Xros Up naming convention they did with Hunters. God that was so lazy and stupid! Just mash names together for crying out loud if it is that hard! Shoutmon Xnumber was more creative!) Sorry. I just feel like they didn’t tap into the full potential of Xros Wars and it upsets me.

This Season channeled Gurren Lagann effortlessly nd I wasn't mad at them for doing so, the scenes went beyond hard truly!

I realized the way the shadows were on betelgammamon kinda foreshadowed his dark evolution

Digimon Xros Wars will always hold a special place in my heart. Mainly because it has my favorite OST in the Digimon animes. This is where Koji Wada (rest in piece)! That, and Shoutmon’s Digixros forms remind me of Power Rangers and Megazords and all.
