I know what you mean but that's definitely a very narrow view of the SCP foundation. There are countless tales connecting the lore and background stories of different SCPs and these stories can take a few hours to read while still only showing a fracture of what's really going on in the SCP universe. Compared to that LC is the one that only has "funny looking thing that murders employees for no reason"

@@malogor2127 i get what you're saying and what the other person is saying but the reality is you're both kinda wrong. they both have deep lore and stuff, but they're very different structurally LC is a centralized story and lore. Which makes stories more consistent and better connected, allows for far more "meaning" and investment in a world. SCP is decentralised lore with connecting stories. It results in a far less consistent world with a great potential for discrepancies and amateurish mistakes, but has far greater freedom and allows anyone to contribute One is not necessarily deeper or more complex than the other, but they each have advantages and disadvantages to how they get made. LC can have a more thoroughly interconnected world that makes sense within itself, and can have revelations and plot twist that change the way you see everything without ruining others work. SCP is a large community project and has a lot more content and potential for stories and creativity as for the actual Abnormalities VS SCPs lore, they both certainly have big flaws, a lot of SCP stories fall into the same clichés, like redacting too much, or making everything OP. and most Abnormalities dont have extensive stories due to them not being "real" things but instead more so emotions and desires extracted and given a form (it's hard to explain since it's not that clear)

On my Lob Corp save, there's this employee called Johnson, a joyful girl with twintails Johnson got the Today's Shy Look gift and never lost it through the entre run, while surviving my sacrifices, indiference, all the RNG bullshit and the fact I had to fight an arbiter on day 49 with 0,1x multipliers because my abnos sabotaged the posibility of doing it as intended, that's when most of my top employees died Johnson survived all that bs So in my headcannon, Johnson survived the epilogue of Lob Corp and became an Impuritas Civitatis of its own I have no attachment to Johnson, the right word would be absolute fear and reverence

@@ThSeLo If Johnson lived to the ending of LobCorp without dying, she would have become a librarian in LoR (also, becoming an Impuritas Civitatis isnt exactly a good thing, it means the head wants you gone. Being a star of the city or a colour would be better, unless you want them to fight the head (and lose))

@@terigonUSAS12 well, yes and no, the thing is, the world of lob corp takes place in a dystopia city ruled over by the eye, the claw, and the Head, and the Wings (basically mega corps) like Lobotmy corp follow their rules, they can do as they like as long as they don't step out of line, if they do, they get destroyed or sent to the Outskirts (which is basically a giagent desert that surrounds the city and may or may not have wandering Eldricht abominations due to it being close to the Ruins which is filled with Eldrich abominations) and replaced by another corp choosen by the head

That's actually a huge compliment to Project Moon, because the SCP wiki is filled to the brim with creativity and originality, and Lobotomy Corporation did a great job in that regard, too. :-) They also managed to recycle their abnormalities in Library of Ruina without them getting boring.

@@earthbind83 Slay the Spire is like Ruina, StS is a very moddable Deck-focused Rogue-like RNG game. You got Cardcaptor Sakura, Goku, Sailor Moon, Lobotomy Corp stages, and more.

It's really good Lobotomy corporation and it's sequel Library of ruina are probably my favorite games to have ever been made

if you end up playing it and don't hate yourself, look up a guide to beat day 49, unless you want the game to break you like it did me

Edit: forgot to say this but HEAVY spoilers for Lobotomy corporation here, if you don't want any spoilers, don't read this, I will not be spoiling the ending or anything that actually happens in the game, just stuff that has already happened by the time you start the game, most of which isn't told to you in game until endgame anyway the lore is a bit confusing, especially if you don't play library of ruina, since in lobotomy it's told to you through snippets of your character's memory, and most of the actual story is stuff that happened in the past, but skipping most of the details: You start a company with the goal of improving people's lives your business partner "dies" in an experiment, which drives your character into depression you continue on to try to make their sacrifice not be in vein you start creating an AI that can think and reason as a human (which is illegal in this universe btw) can in the image of your lost coworker one of your coworkers rats to the governing body that you are breaking the law they invade and end up killing all but you and your best friend you torture and kill the person who was leading the raid on your company you end up finishing the AI and calling her Angela Angela ends up killing your best friend in secret you put the brains of all your former coworkers and the head of the raiding party in robots to serve as the heads of your companies departments you start a timeloop on your facility to finish what you started and wipe your memory on every loop (restarting the game from the beginning is cannon in this game) and I didn't even mention anything about the main gameplay mechanic, the abnormalities you get energy from in that, which are undying and unempathetic creatures who will not hesitate to massacre your entire staff. some of this might be wrong or out of order, but this was my understanding of the lore after finishing lobotomy corporation, and I have yet to finish library of ruina. I also left out stuff that actually happens in lobotomy corporation, specifically the ending.

Well, in Projectmoon's website They said Lobotomy corp was inspired by "SCP , Cabin in the wood ,13 warehouse". Also,the game's lore is really confuse as well.

The lore is simple really: Local sociopath wants to cause enlightenment; turns friends into robots and makes nightmare fuel to do so.
