thats just a fucking present
Convenient that it’s a birthday present then!
What font did you use?
I followed your suggestions on updating my outdoor table and chairs. They came out beautiful, except the rustoleum stone accent I put on the table washed off at the first rain storm we had! It looked beautiful when I finished spraying two cans. I even put a clear top coat on, but it clearly is not an outdoor paint job 😢😢.
Did you put primer under it?
My grandma was an antique collector/dealer. She refurbished antique furniture, jewelry, really anything she could restore and prepare to be re-loved, she would recreate it. So happy for you and realizing your passion and purpose. ❤❤❤ Wishing you all the success of your dreams coming true!
Never thought about painting the glass, what a great idea. No one needs to see the nasty undercarriage.
That’s so pretty!!!
Thanks so much!!
Ohhhh she’s beautiful!! I JUST finished a dresser very much like this, and I went with white on the bottom and walnut on top, and this beauty gives me regrets!! Lovely work!!!
Use a deck of players cards and place them around the edge between the frame and mirror. If they are loose and slip out, Fold the edge before
❤🎉
How do I cover the mesh if I only want to paint the chair frame?
I would tape the edges with Frog Tape, and then place something opaque like cardboard or craft paper or something over the mesh and then tape it down so it’s properly covered (on both sides to block the overspray from getting in there as well!)
What tape did you use?
Frog Tape!
@@MelDidItHerself Thaaank you my dear! I'm going to do the chairs I got on clearance at NFM at the end of the season last year. ( at first I was super excited to finally have "big girl" patio chairs instead of plastic. But all winter I've been staring out the window at them thinking I'm glad I got a good deal, but hating the color more and more. This vid made me order the paint and the right tape. So thank YOU for helping to make me an owner of "big girl" patio furniture for the first time in my life at 47yrs old! Lol)
Is there any issues with paint transfer from the seats to clothing?
I never have issues with this with the product I used, no! Just make sure to allow it to really thoroughly dry prior to use, based on what the instructions on the can say☺️
@@MelDidItHerself excellent. I'm going to work on this project over the weekend. ✌️
This bothers my OCD. Rolling isn't aesthetically pleasing. There's other ways to gain storage space, if you're short on it.
They look so cool
I just want to find black furniture that looks fancy and gothic and stuff but everything on Amazon is fake wood and cheap and causes cancer
You didn’t seal with clear wax in the end as far as I can see. IMO it gives a nicer and more elegant finish.
You’re correct, I didn’t! I’m not a big fan of the look of wax as a sealant (typically I use a polyurethane), but since this is a decorative piece and won’t get any wear and tear, I left it unsealed to maintain the opaque, matte look☺️
It's not fool proof!
I see something i'd like to paint white
Someone gave me a chair just like this and this is the exact color combo I wanted. Thanks, I’m gonna copy!
Actually the cards should stay tehy re a statement
HOW HAS THIS NOT BLOWN UP YET! first may I get a pin
That cream Jacket is so soft, and cosy. It suits you a great deal❤
Thank you so much!🤍✨ Definitely need to put together some outfits so I can utilize it more often☺️
Can you wax over it?
You can! Howard’s actually has a product in their line they recommend using over it called Feed-N-Wax!
I found this video very helpful. I am doing a set of large mirrors but find the paint is streaking. Perhaps i should squirt the brush to do lighter coats I am using fusion mineral paint in picket fence color and now think I will distress it also. Did you seal it,add a hardener (matte or gloss?)
I’m so glad you found it helpful! With fusion I would recommend not adding water as that will thin the consistency even more- Picket Fence is such a bright white that it typically requires more coats of paint than most of the other colours in their line (if painting over a dark colour, 4-5 coats isn’t uncommon!). To ensure you get a smooth finish when building up the thin coats, make sure you sand lightly with high grit sandpaper (220+) in between each coat ☺️
Can you please link the products you used for paint and led strip? As well as what tools you used in this video?? (: That would be soo helpful!
Could also make your own jig with left over wood... same principle as this one here with what you might have kicking around.
I never would have thought of this, genius!!
What kind of primer can I use? Did you use any ?
I didn’t use any, no! Just using this appliance epoxy (a few coats of it) was enough to get it opaque
BRILLIANT!
Work smarter not harder, amiright?!🙌🏼
Totªl mvp

Hot Canadian girl.
I love this idea!! ❤❤
Girl you deserve to improve your eyeliner 😭 looking like a 12yo who borrowed her mom's makeup lmfao
Using a paper towel isn’t new 😂
New in my world!😂
If you struggle to get anything into a 5 inch diameter hole I feel sorry for you. Would've liked this video if you used a plastic bottle or something with a small top
good quality.👏
Liked your work but was really shocked to hear the F bomb .
Beautifully redone 👏👏👏👏
Same dresser I got 😂
No way!!
YES!!! A vacation is the best medicine!!
Good for you! I never thought about repainting the old patio chairs like you did. Great job; thank you! PS, is the stone surface paint rough or smooth?🤔
definitely no where near as good as other hardware jigs on amazon too short no stoppers for edges
I didn’t even think to check Amazon! Do you have one you’d recommend?
soooo disappointed, my volume on high, could hardly hear you.
Looove this content, keep it up!
No one give a f
Omg stop talking and just show us what it looks like
I don't think vacations is always a reset. Many times, it's a phone that stopped working for a while. Phone being all the problems, when it continues working fine, the problems come back again. Running away from your feelings is not always the solution
Why the music always cut off half way on these videos lol.
The UA-cam music options at the time were all shorter than the length of the video 🥲🥲 lol sorry!
Brilliant. I’m going to try this with the handheld mirrors that I make.
Amazing, I’m sure it would work great and save lots of time!
Was this one coat? And what was the bane of the colour? Love it 😍
Thank you that was sooo helpful.
