Top comment saying the seat broke is ignorant to the existence of whiplash safety measures built into seats of all cars. The seat back bending backwards absorbs most of the acceleration away from the driver’s back. Make a simple search for “whiplash prevention seat” on UA-cam and you will find every car gets tested has the same effect.
