Do you feel any difference in rhythm shooting from season 1 till now? Ive heard some say because of the buff to button shooting it’s not worth rhythm shooting anymore.

Only issue I’m having sometimes is a tempo issues when shooting maybe because I play on broadcast not 2K view cause I noticed it’s easier to shoot on that but it’s only been three months since the game release. I will continue to put in the work to correct that small issue

Love rhythm shooting, but sometimes the input registers as a button shot. Is there a way to prevent that?

Thanks u for all the tips, its even more dynamic try the rhythm shooting. I need to practice 'cause my tumb goes very fast in some situations and need to go with the flow of the follow trought or like u said; the ball movement.

I was just messing around on the park servers with a buddy for an hour or two just practicing shooting. For slower releases I feel like rhythm shooting is far superior, but the quicker releases are really hard to time the down and up movement in that small window. Idk but definitely having more fun with my Wemby now that I know the secret.

You should post more often if time affords you the chance to do so. Great video. After two months, I’ve come around to rhythm shooting and I’ve been lights out in rec with an 80 mid range and 70 3. I got tired of my own inconsistency with button shooting.

Shot timing cue doesn’t apply to rythem shooting, rythem shooting is always gonna be push timing no matter what your cue is on. Cue is only for square

I found Practice Plays to be helpful too when practicing rhythm shooting on MyTeam. You can rep the same shot over and over and really build that muscle memory you were talking about

I think rhythm shoot is good for big or player with low 3pt. (Or my team too cuz u cant memorize every jump)

Bro same here Ive been shooting way better since fully committing to right stick. You can really flick in any direction so it made it easier to do fades, trying running to the right then hold the right stick to shoot then flick it to the left ( try finding the timing).

8 minutes into this video and i tried out the timing cue, I've never attempted rhythm shooting in a real game cus i suck at it, i went straight into a game without testing it out and i shot lights out, you're the goat, you've earned a sub for sure 👍

Rhythm shooting was a game changer for me. Especially when I’ve been notoriously bad at shooting in previous years. I love seeing people who don’t rhythm shoot because I really know the benefits. Would love to see a small guard dribble breakdown in the future ❤

How do you feel after patch 3?

Once you learn to relax when rhythm shooting, you almost forget about the defender and focus on getting your release on point. You can really hit craaaazy shots 😮‍💨

I think they buffed shooting so much it’s effected rhythm shooting. I shot so much better before season 2. The last week or so though it’s like the game isn’t registering my up motion sometimes making my shot slightly late. Now I’m getting slightly fast all the time

OAN another reason players have a difficult time with rhythm shooting is cause their shots are sped up and so fast it makes it tough to actually follow the ball especially with a good lock guarding you

9:20 Following the ball is probably one of the best tips for rhythm shooting that I haven't thought of or heard anywhere else 🤔🤔 On side note though if there needs to be this many videos and videos that are this long explaining it then it probably wasn't the baest implementation of said idea. They also should of been a short tutorial for rhythm shooting at the start of the game as soon as it starts installing 😅😅😅

I play only MT and started using rhythm shooting from the beginning. I can't hit consistently Probably due to connection problems. But appreciate the investment in the video.

I can’t shoot with right stick . If I get slightly late and I say ok I’ll release a bit early , then I get fast tempo , once I get fast tempo I’m like ok maybe I need to slow down my flick speed , so I flick a bit slower , and I go right back to slightly late but this time great tempo .

I have Jordan and Tracy and I’d argue Jordan’s jumper is as bad as Tracy’s.
