Mercerized Cotton po maam. Mejo Stretchy po kasi acrylic.

Yes po! Monaco merce is a versatile yarn. I even made a shawl out of this yarn po. May 3 ply / 5 ply / 8 ply na po sila.

@jessasbizarre yey! Thanks for answering po! Last question nalang po, ano po mas pref niyo yung single pull or double pull po? First time to use the monaco merce po eh kaya no idea pa ako about sa yarn na yan 😅

@@felynmarie1125 you’re welcome po! It depends po sa anong type niyong project for it. I think kung mag dodouble pull ka, mas better if lakihan mo ang hook na gagamitin. Kasi if double pull tapos small hook, stiff yung kalalabasan. 😊

@@felynmarie1125 yung shawl ko po single pull then 3mm hook kaya mejo lace2 yung effect hehe. Try niyo po if cardigan double pull for 3ply or single pull for 5ply then 4mm-5mm hook

depende po sa type ng yarn. cotton is slightly more higher sa price vs acrylic. sa 10kg ko po, 4500 po lahat in pesos.

i don’t think it’s advisable to use that since medyo matigas and makapal yung ganung klase ng yarn for wearables saka makati rin, try fine cotton or indophil na lang po :)

Hello from one-year-later Philippines! Haha! I am not sure really but according to an old blogger that has since stopped blogging sadly, polycotton yarn is polyester+cotton combination that originated from India. Then someone said Philippines and India have partnered on textile and the rest is history.

I've seen some people use indophil for amigurumi too! so I think you may use indophil yarn however you want, I haven't personally tried it since I use it for wearables and use milk cotton yarn for my amigurumi

You can use fine cotton, soft indophil and milk cotton yarn. I usually use those, when I crochet my cardigans😊

Based on my personal experience, I use indophil, polyester fine cotton mostly on amigurumis. Di ko sila bet sa wearables especially sa tops and bottoms grabe kasi maghimulmol lalo na kapag nalabhan, ang pangit na tingnan parang luma. Sa milk cotton, once ko lang ginamit sa swimsuitnna ginawa ko kasi nung nilabhan ko nagshrink yung yarn so nadala na ako. Mostly, ginagamit ko ang milk cotton sa flower pati yung acrylic. Ang bigat din kapag nabasa yang mga yarn na yan, natry ko na sa croptops, shorts, bikins etc. At di ko talaga sila bet. Ang ginagamit ko sa wearables ko ay monaco mercerized cotton yarn 5ply. Di mabigat kapag nabasa, di nagbe bleed at di sobrang maghimulmol. Natry ko na din i-washing machine yung mga wearables ko na monaco yarn ang gamit and okay na okay siya.

Hindi po siya stretchy. Akala ko rin nung una stretchy pero it’s not. Shiny po siya at madulas. And heavier than fine cotton.

Hindi ko pa po na try pero meron tayong lace yarn na Monaco Raylon. Mas soft daw po compared sa Monaco mercerized cotton. And thread po siya.

Ang (canon crochet thread). Ang mas maganda sa kung gumuwa ka nang like crop tops or long sleeve and shirt, sleeve less. Kapag yarn ginamit Makati yun sa balat nakagawa na kasi ako gamit yung yarn . Makati talaga . ( This is my recommendation to you ).I hope I help you.

Nakagawa na ako ng dress sa fine cotton at shawls and scarfs. May crocheters po na ginagawa siyang blanket malamig kasi siya sa skin and di mainit. Pwede rin swimwears and beanies.

Parang nawala na yung seller na nabilhan ko po nun eh. Try nalang po buffy yarns. They specialized in hand dyed cotton yarns po.

Natry ko na po yung 4-ply, 6-ply, 8-ply, and 12-ply na monaco undyed.

Sa baguio if you’re near there pero marami sa online po mercerized cottons in cones. I agree maganda siya sa wearables!

I dont recommend. Scratchy siya at di ganun kagnda quality. Ok yun for decorations, ornaments, amigurumis, etc. Suggest ko sa mercerized cotton ka. Kung gusto mo mas mataas yung gauge, triple ply mo yugn yarn (search how to convert thin yarn to thick, maraming tips about that haha).

Kung kailangan mo acrylic, subukan mo maghanap ng mga indophil. Usually acrylic sila, although sobrang manipis lang.

Hello Pat hi! Tama si Daniel ConR. Tsaka makapal masyado ang monaco acrylic. Maganda lang siya sa beginners yung pang praktis. At syempre maganda siya sa decor o accessories.
