Hello! In screening platforms you see the result as of date. For example, if you screen stocks today, you will see the list of stocks that fulfill all the conditions today. In back testing, as per your rebalancing frequency, the stocks are bought and sold and if there are no stocks then the portfolio will be held in cash. So if at any particular time there are no stocks then you will see a flat line. @@sharpely im saying there is a difference between stocks as on date in both screener and sharpely, its not about backtesting platform

Yes! You can backtest your strategy on sharpely. You will find a playlist on how you can create and backtest your strategies on our platform.

Yes! You can easily do that on sharpely. We have a function called previous period in our screener. Using that you can compare any ratio with the previous quarter/year values.

Hello! Selection of mutual funds depend on many factors. So, we wont be able to provide how you should allocate your funds. But we believe that compared to pure mid or small cap funds, flexicap can be a better option as the fund manager has the freedom to invest in a wider range of stocks. In mid and small cap funds, the fund manager has to invest in a limited number of stocks and the manager can't move the money into different market cap even if the valuations are rich in mid/small cap space.
