Excellent layout. The level of detail is wonderful to see. Loved the swimming Swan.
@@monsvillerailways5736 👍
Grear filming, I just wish those who spray paint their tags would fine a better outlet for their sparetime, like a model railway.
Nice. A difficult bridge to film from. Was there anything nice in the yard???
@@edenbridgejunction7526 Yes not my favourite bridge not to bad coming the other way the yard was almost empty apart from the 73s
Hate to be that person bu- 1st comment can i be pinned also nice vid!
Great Cattle Trucks are they handmade? If so excellent railway modelling
@@user-yr8jj5ut7z As far as I am aware all the stock is scratch built with some kits as well
I'm catching 66793 on Daventry at Charing! Care to join me? 🙂
@@SSccaanniiaa unfortunately working but thank you for thinking of me 👍
@@patstrainsuk1 NO worries! Just saw it for you! 😉
Beautiful layout, thanks for sharing
@@Biggles-gm6tm Thank you Pat
Saw this at the On Traxs exhibition at the Spoorwegmuseum in Utrecht here in Holland last march. Stunning layout. Rgds, Joachim
I was impressed with the Bala Junction layout it is almost spot on,if it is any help to the builder The Branch Loop (nearest the Signal Box) had Trap Points at Both ends. The interlocking was arranged so that one or the other Trap Points was always open meaning it was not possible to run a train non stop through the Branch Loop, a train had to stop at the exit end while the points were changed behind it before the points in front of the locomotive could be reversed enabling the train to leave the Branch Loop. Therefore the Branch Loop could not be used for Passenger trains, the two Trap Points did not have a Facing Point Locks .
@@andrewmerriman7133 Thank you for taking the time to respond I have passed this information on to the layout builder
Over running third rail. Danger !
Wow😊
Where is this?
@@2dach Crayford, not far from Bexley southeast London
Did you see 66721 by any chance 😯!
@@Trainsandbits no was she about?
@@patstrainsuk1yes it was it was on 6M41! Which went via cuxton because of Denmark hill being shut! It’s on my channel to let you know 🙂!
damn, shed that clean, you'd almost think it just rolled out of EMD plant :o nice catch
@@killer1479 She was Ex works was originally in DRS blue there for the grand opening of the new shad at TWY today
@@patstrainsuk1 nice <3
It's really nice to see how Geoff is progressing with his latest Welsh adventure, by the looks it will be even better than his Barmouth Junction layout.
@@StajBrickhead69 I agree the amount of work done in just a year is fantastic 👍
Looking very clean! 😮
@@SSccaanniiaa Yes Ex works to cover an event at TWY today
@@patstrainsuk1 What's happening? 😮 As I'm in Holland at the moment! 😆🇱🇺
@@SSccaanniiaa 66303 on her way into Tonbridge West Yard being the start of the show at the grand opening of the new shed at Tonbridge west Yard today Could say a shed to open a shed but 66303 looked so good in the sun that might be a bit unfair 👍
You were there.. I was the guy in Southeastern uniform taking photos!
@@HSTHoward Yes I did see you 👍

Hi pat
damn i miss the old EWS liveries :(
@@killer1479 This is an interesting collection as not many “as devilled” EWS / DB 66s left 👍
@@patstrainsuk1 would rather see the old EWS scheme again....much like freightliners new scheme is ghastly orange 🤢
Good video
@@terrylear4219 Thanks Pat
Dam I missed that one.

Hi, great video! I believe I meet you o was the young lad down the platform in blue geans blue jumper. You talked to me and mentioned about your UA-cam channel. Glad I found you video and I’ve subscribed!
@@DomTheTrainNerd Thank you I am pleased you like the channel and have subscribed it all helps the channel grow nice to meet you as well👍
Great shot
😮 They went via Tonbridge? 🤨
@@SSccaanniiaa Yes they were not booked this way and I was not expecting to see them again today 👍
@@patstrainsuk1 Why did they get changed to Tonbridge line? 🤔 Atleast you got to see 37407 leading! 🙂
@SSccaanniiaa Don’t know why they didn’t run as booked only just got to see 407 leading as was running one the bridge 😇
@@patstrainsuk1 Still a rare sight to see the 37's with freight & light loco! 🙂
@@SSccaanniiaa Yes and there is another about tonight www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:H16307/2024-08-22/detailed 3 class 37s working in Kent today Nice 👍
I can almost recreate this scenario. If only my 66 wasn't in gbrf livery. 😊
Brilliant, Pat. For us modern modellers. Three entirely different liveries, two time periods, not a long train, light engine and no wagons. Bachmann and Dapol, here I come. - or even two Limas. Wouldn’t need two of the engines to have motors. I’ve got the Harry Beck model still boxed. Interesting times!
Gimme more! Sad we didnt hear its multiple accelerating travtion motora
The shed had an interesting colour scheme
@@killer1479 Yes there are 2 both London Tube Maps the other loco 66718 has a black background
@@patstrainsuk1 cool, thanks for letting me know! :)
Another great capture. Nice long train! Wales was interesting but glad you’re back in the southern area again. I assume these are HS2 tunnel sections. I see they have come from Grain but where were they manufactured?
@@CaptainTony1 Yes they are for HS2 as far as I am aware the tunnel segments are made at Grain same place as the segments were made for channel tunnel I think they are also or was making the segments for the new London super sewer Bit strange as a lot of the tunnels segments were made somewhere close to Bedford and transported to Grain to be moved by road to London!
@@CaptainTony1 This is a link to my video of the tunnel segments to Grain ua-cam.com/video/IxlXE08F_gU/v-deo.htmlsi=luAqjRMYHJkFDrbg Not normally 2 locomotives this was running late so I would guess there was an issue with the original loco?
Awesome 😊
Nice catch!
I seen this same loco at apperley Bridge before
@@WilliamMitchell-w3n Yes nice to see a 66 today 👍
Thanks patstrains I catch a 4.30 bus from Watford could see the Mail unit going over Apsley Red Lion bridge sometimes on way home
I know that little station, it's near Wrexham ❤
