Not true. While there are pipe organs that are legendary in size and magnificence, the was one other that will torch your brain to comprehend it. In the early 1900's A man named Thaddeus Cahill engineered the incredible Telharmonium. It was an absolute unit! The reason for it's monstrous proportions was because he wanted to pipe music directly into all the households that were getting new phones installed. The theory was, you could dial in and your phone would be playing live concerts being played on the Telharmonium. In all, only 6 of the machines were ever constructed, and none of them survived to today, and thus, we will never know what one of the earliest electronic musical instruments sounded like.
