Do you have any issues with drainage on with your sand trap? I'm thinking of putting one or two on my home course.

Could we consider hitting the flag stick a "Technical Ace" in this context? No prizes or anything, but hey, you couldn't get it any closer. All around there were a lot of beautiful shots here, great setups for a birdie opportunity if it was in stroke play.

Before the Prairie Club opened our sister married a local rancher (10,000 acre cattle ranch) & I began to enjoy my visits & playing cowboy. Then; the golf course opened & we suddenly had a world class golf course(s) to play. In the early years I played many rounds without seeing another golfer all day. Eventually the ranch was sold & my trips have ended. Except for the locals I may have played the course, in it's first 6-7, years more than anyone else. Absolutely fabulous golf & the Sand Hills themselves are worth the trip. Night skies are amazing.

Never hurts to consult the professionals.

Wow, so I'm not the only one then.. To make a long story short I built a 9 hole golf course at home as a lockdown project, and the philosophy I had going in was much the same. Get back to the roots of the game and shrug off the country club mantle, and generally just give it a whirl to see if I could do it with what I had on hand. Covid's put a bit of damper on things, but I do like to introduce people to golf and show that you don't have to be rich to enjoy the game, and having visitors by for a round or to teach them the basics is a pleasure. Definitely going to see about becoming a member!
