The joy of making music your own subliminal message. Once a girl named Sierra friend requested me. I never knew or met her a day in my life. I liked what I saw in the picture. We talked a little bit. I met her and we went on a date. I took her to a friend's house and she sat there. Who knows what she was measuring out of me in her head. She got a text message from some random guy, and I took her to his house. That's where she showed me her pain killer addiction. She looked at me with the most charming eyes and said, "You don't mind do you?" before dedicating her septum. Then she showed me scars on her wrists. A few dates later she went off with one of my friends (after I drove her too) and they screwed in a basement. I was on mushrooms and my whole world was caving in and my other friends opened the door and threw things down the steps calling her a whore and a bitch, which I didn't want them to do. I hate her tattoos. If any person who wasn't obsessed with her took a basic Lehman look at her, they'd probably agree that she's a drain. God how I still have feelings for her though. When she pulled the knife out of my heart, she at least did it with eloquence. She laid me down gently, and tied my hair in a braid, and at least seemed sorry for changing my heart's weather. Others just tossed me in sloppy traffic. Her long shady eyes.

I find amusing that this many people gave a shit to even form an opinion or even have the nerve to comment on someone's personal relationship they know nothing about, or to even give it two thoughts..maybe just stick to being deftones fans..that's what it's really about the music.. And for the record I love the deftones..they are a amazing band.. Sincerely chinos ex wife.. Celeste.

Celeste is not a bitch, and she does not deserve anything bad to come her way, she is an amazing person by far. most of you that are stuck on chinos d!ck groupies will never have the pleasure of meeting her.

cool interview, i respect Chino for his influences from 80s depeche cure, smiths, I see it in his music and it brings a new side to heavy rock which I totally appreciate. great band and great artistry.
