The "eight steps to innovation" pave the way from finding a problem to offer a solution adapted to address the pain customers feel when impacted by this problem. I show how we can assess the pertinency of a business model based on this problem by filling a template inspired by the Lean Business model Canvas. We fill a single table with our initial hypotheses, which we'll have to validate by asking our potential customers if our assumptions regarding the problem definition, and the offered solution, are correct.
