what your experience with medium? same dry time?

Not sure . I’ve checked them in 2-3 hours and all good, but I usually clear at night, turn off the lights, and take off the holders in the morning . After waiting 24-48 hrs for 20+ yrs, Tamco changed everything for me.

me too. I just hated painting clear on with brush. then went to solorez uv clear, which wasn't bad for a matte type finish. kbs and every other thing I could try. Tamco high impact is way to go for me. didn't check mine at 30 but was dry to touch in 42. Love the speed but got to hold up to the hook rash and rocks to be as good as the old high impact. 🤞

I don't do as much lure painting as I used to. Used to make a flat sided balsa bait that was foil sided. Started using Finish 1 two part clear. Just got back into lure painting again about six months ago. The Finish 1 is a two part auto clear like Tamco as well. Always have had very good results with it. Great Finish and very tough and durable. The nice thing is it's available at most Auto Zone or O'Reilly stores.

No need to use 4040 bleed checker in this application. paints used are transparent and not dyies or candies.

I recommend a .5 needle. My. Iwata .35 can effectively spray some but not all.
