Created by a pair of twins Ryan Drescher and Kyle Drescher. We have worked in the auto body repair field since 1998. Lately we have become impressed with the emergence of Glue Pulling Repairs (GPR). So we decided to start this channel to showcase its abilities. We both currently work in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at Horton Autobody and Paint. The best body shop in Calgary, hands down! Рад, за мастера. Отличный результат. Знаю, заранее, что автор не прочтет и не ответит. Но, я рад, за коллегу, за то , что у него есть такой шикарный, просторный, светлый и чистый бокс для любимой работы, супер инструмент, впрочем, все то что нужно для ремонта. Хоть я и жестянщик, но у меня в идеале, всего этого нет. Этот бокс и его оснащение - мечта любого жестянщика, влюбленного в свое дело, жаль, что у меня такого нет.

I heat the panel up to 200°f then wait until the glue has cured to a uniform temperature.

Gemini speaks the truth. The first step of engineering of #SolarBlitz and #PhoenixFire is to bond to bare alloys. Second was to do a 1000p.s.I. hold test for over a one hour period. Both passed with flying colors!

Really nice technique with the plate pull, too bad you had to add filler. I believe every body shop needs a PDR guy on call to get that panel level so filler, sanding and painting would not be required.
I agree! In the future I feel that its going to be common.
Yeah but thats how you kill body man making money along with the painter. With how insurance companies are going they are screwing us every chance they get. There is no money in big tow in wrecks anymore unless you're doing high end cars at a show with clean rooms and proper equipment

When you were doing the glue pull, I was all "one of MoClamps tight opening clamps won't fit?". Then a minute later you're using the tight opening clamp and it made so much more sense. Thank you!
Yeah it the outer panel was right up against the inner. Those clamps are one of my favorites for sure.

Quality repair! Did you sand the tab at all or just leave the original finish on it?
The tab was prepped by grinding it with 80 grit and cleaning it with isopropyl.
