I unfortunately never had a chance to see a movie there but the Super EMX one was amazing and just seeing the screen (even before the movie starts) is an experience itself! It was so cool! But I am glad you got to go the true IMAX in Grand Rapids though!

While I obviously love the upgrades and totally understand why they had to start playing new movies with the rise of streaming/VOD, there was something really special about going there for a night out with friends. I remember sometimes we would go see blockbusters again many months after initial release just to see them on the big screen again (for only a few bucks)!

Very good idea about the other theaters though; Definitely need to do that next visit! We only had sodas that day but the popcorn looked amazing and I believe they have a concession discount for MKE Film Members.

Why wouldn’t you get popcorn if it looked delicious that doesn’t make sense to just have soda but no popcorn
